"It spoke." He repeats. Yoongi sucks furiously on the lollipop you'd made him switch out for cigarettes. He looks so uncomfortable you'd afraid that he might just break if he doesn't a light a cigarette to calm himself.
You hold him tighter as you try to reflect on what happened. After Yoongi's life changing words the animal had subsided, as if coming to the agreement of a truce. Jin was treating Jungkook's new scar on his cheek that instead of pitying over he boasted about as a mark from battle.
Yoongi sat in front of you, on the floor of the RV, as you tried to comfort him with an amateur shoulder massage. But he was convinced he was going crazy and it scared him.
"You're saying the lion thing spoke?" Jimin looks at Yoongi doubtingly.
"Yes!" Yoongi snaps indignantly. "How come none of you guys heard it? In-inside your head. "
The expressions he's met with frustrate him even more as he realizes how mad he sounds. "I'm serious? You do-dont believe me? "
"What did it say then?" Jin asks kindly, like he was talking to a child. You feel Yoongi tense up and mold his shoulders more quickly to cool his nerves. He needed to relax.
"It...it was worried, for it's child," Yoongi continues, trying to recall. "It th-thought we had stolen it but... it didn't mean no harm!" he adds firmly. "None at all. "
"What? " Jungkook sputters, turning his head wildly in Yoongi's direction. "What are you saying? Why the hell did it attack me like that then?!"
"You jumped at it!" Yoongi exclaims, getting worked up.
"Hyung are you insane?! " Jungkook cries. "You're taking the side of some wild beast!"
"I'm not taking any sides! " Yoongi bursts. He's almost on his feet now, as he glare around the room feeling so lost and attacked. He doesn't know what to do anymore, how to convince you all, thus he's resorted to his true self: a shaking ball of emotions.
Pisces, you couldn't help thinking.
"If only you guys would fucking listen when it fucking spoke and wouldn't have fucking attacked you if you hadn't fu-"
"Okay okay we get it!" Jin interrupts him loudly, shooting him a look as he automatically covers Jungkook's ears. "Calm. Down! "
"Yoongi, " Namjoon speaks up suddenly, his voice taking control of all power. "You heard this creature talk, right? It spoke to you. Have...have you heard other creatures talk as well?"
There is a silence.
Yoongi gulps, looking a little comfortable as he wasn't sure how to answer. "I don't think I ever really noticed it, you know, 'cause we make a lot of noise among ourselves. But, n-no haven't seen others, really. It was mostly you guys that encountered them, cuz I-always stayed in-"
"Namjoon, what are you implying? " Hoseok asks curiously. Everyone turns to Namjoon who has a strange expression on his face as the clockworks of his mind work furiously. "Are you saying... Yoongi hyung can talk to animals?"
"That's crazy!" You blurt before you can stop yourself.
"As crazy as the fact that Taehyung can fly?" Namjoon counters at once. "Or that Jimin can breathe underwater?"
Jungkook and you exchange looks. Jimin had protested that this be kept a secret because he had been afraid that there was something wrong about him or that there might be a reasonable explanation for this. Large lungs or something.
