The cold morning breeze rushes through his uniform as he descends the ramp. After fourteen days at sea, all he has seen is the endless blue after blue after blue of the sea that the color no longer looked like blue anymore. All he'd felt was the swaying of the boat beneath his feet that now stable ground was unfamiliar to him. The sounds and scents of earth compared to that of the sea invaded his senses, overwhelming him.

However the most overwhelming of all, was when he found....me.

No matter how many days apart he could never forget me. He remembered every feature of my face, the dark hair and shining eyes, the nose that I claimed to be so imperfect but it was the only nose which he loved to boop against his. The stretch of my smile when he said something worth it and the gentle touch of my lips which he'd ached for.

Yet when he caught sight of me it was like he was meeting me for the first time all over again. It was always like that. He felt the familiar uncontrollable smile burst across his face when he realized I was looking right at back at him.

It didn't take me long to run the length of the docks and jump into his arms. My long wavy hair blew in the sea breeze and my cheeks were rosy pink from getting up early on this wintry morning to welcome back my fiancé. His arms lifted me into the air excitedly, his strong sailor faltering right before the eyes of everyone else. I melted his icy front and revealed the true softie behind that, that only I knew existed.

He pulled me into him at once, crashing his lips onto mine at once, meshing them together. He savored in the feeling, the melting of his frozen lake as he was washed out with love and warmth. Spending two months on a navy battle ship with men and only men made you strong, firm, emotionless...it made you a soldier.

But here, he was nothing else but himself. He was Min Yoongi.

I pull away a little but he chases after me, grabbing me closer and demanding me gently. Reflecting him I pull his head closer to mine,  closing my eyes shut to prevent the tears from escaping. He smiles a little into the kiss, lips spreading wide across mine until I'm met with a wide gummy smile.

"Ah," I exhale a puff of breath into the frosty morning. "That smile, Yoongi. It tortures me how long I have to wait to see that smile."

He stopped smiling at once, self conscious. He hadn't noticed how he'd been beaming like some crazy idiot, that adorable grin that lit up his entire face and turned him into sort of feline animal. He clears his throat, trying to compose himself. But his lips, his heart, his soul couldn't help trembling as I stood in front of him, as real as his memories.

He holds my hands in his, pressing them softly. "God I missed you," he sighs.

I link my palm with his, and turn towards the waking land. My cheeks were pink with a cold morning I wasn't used to and he could see it as well. "Let's get home?" I suggest and he nods daintily.

We walk down the ramp together to where I kept the car waiting. I yawned a little, nostrils flaring and eyes squeezed shut. The mess I was, was so attractive to him.

"You didn't have to wake up and pick me up," He says sweetly, ruffling his hair. "You look tired. I'll drive."

I frown, shaking my head as I give him a knowing look.

"That's alright," I murmur, disbelievingly. "I'll do it. I can't fall asleep now."

"No I wan-"

"Yah," I say with a small smile, squeezing his hand. "Don't act so tough. I told you I can drive." I flash him my drivers licence with glee. "Ever since I got this I've been dying for some officer to pull me over so I can just whip this in their damn face."
