"Y/N, " Jin calls your name and you turn approaching the man. He leans forward so his words are only heard by you.
"How did you do that?"
"Do what? "
"Convince him to come back. " Jin explains, jerking his head towards Yoongi. "He's one of the strongest minded people I know. H-how did you even find him? "
You winked but then tried to return to your serious. "I think he just need a little time. " You say popping a baby tomato into your mouth. "And it's true. You guys never take him seriously. How was he supposed to feel? "
Jin raised an eyebrow. "Huh, " He sighs turning back to Yoongi. "I never thought about it like that."
You ruffle his head cutely, even though he's a couple of years older than you and start to walk off but he grabs your wrist. Jin pulls you back towards him, still holding your hand.
"Don't go."
"What?"
"Stay here. Talk with me. I really need help with cooking anyway. "
"You really don't, " You say slyly. He was a masterchef himself and if he had whipped up all this everyday day for the boys two months before you'd helped, he was more than capable. Plus he enjoyed it. You didn't mind and at first you did it as a form of politeness and to help out. But now... well you could do other things.
"I don't want to be in the kitchen with you all the time, Jin, " You say with a pout, releasing your arm from his grasp.
"Not in the kitchen. "
You look at him confused. "What are you talking about? "
He gives you a second more to acknowledge it, staring intensely at you.. But all you can think about is his handsome face right in front of you. He searches your gaze for understanding but when he finds none just shakes his head.
"Come on. I want to take you somewhere."
A little intimidated you let him drag you along, a little away from the others. The both of you set down the road the approaching dusk providing a romantic light for the both of you. You don't seem to notice it as the snow has become heavier throughout the day. You pull yourself together to keep warmer wanting to avoid the question that he would ask no doubt. But soon enough he says it.
"Are you cold? "
"No, " You reply at once, walking faster to keep warm.
"Y/N!"
He runs to catch up with you. He pulls you into a nearby house, since outside the town only small cottages are constructed for farmers to watch after the crops. It's a small humble place but no doubt cozy.
"Why are we here? " You ask curiously but he doesn't reply as he chucks some logs into the hearth starting a warm fire.
You move closer at once, admiring the way he could make himself at home anywhere. He was truly a man who could manage an entire household by himself. And that was something.
"If the weather was different... " He begins but then shakes his head. "It's fine. Once you warm up we'll head back okay? "
"Sure, " You nod, relaxing onto the couch feeling like a grandma who's gone years worth of experience in life. It felt like that. No grandma could have gone through all that you'd done.
"What did you want to show me? " You ask.
He produces the basket he's been carrying all all along and sits down in the couch beside you. "Well... I don't know... I-i thought we could... Um... Go for like a... Picnic or something...."
