He smiled halfheartedly. "Good luck Hyung. You're gonna need it."

NAMJOONS POV

"Yes Eomma, I'm eating enough, and sleeping enough. Stop worrying about me, I'm fine."

I sighed, listening to the sweet lady that was my mother, as she asked me the same questions she always asked me when I called her.

"No, I'm not overworking myself,  we are getting a little break right now, we have a week off...yes, I'm going to try to get home to see you either tomorrow or the next day. Okay Eomma, I love you too. I gotta go, someones knocking."

I disconnected the call and got up, taking the few steps to my door and opening it to see Jin standing on the other side.

"Sorry, did I interrupt your phone call?"

"No no, it's okay, I was ready to hang up anyway. What's up?"

I watched as Jin looked at his hands, seeming uncertain, his eyes darting around nervously.

"Is something wrong? You seem...anxious."

"Uh...well. There's something I wanted to talk to you about, but I'm not sure how you'll take it."

I looked at him in surprise. He'd never been one to even give a thought to whether or not I, or anyone else for that matter, agreed with something he thought, or an opinion he had. He'd never been bothered about bringing something up in conversation, he always just said what was on his mind.

"Hyung, you've never worried about telling me anything before...which leads me to think it might be something bad."

"Not necessarily bad, but it probably won't turn out good."

He sighed, and I walked to the bed, motioning for him to sit in the chair I'd just vacated.

"Is there something I can do to help?" I had no idea what this could be about, but because of the way Taehyung had come home last night, I had to assume that it had something to do with him.

"Not yet, but maybe in time."

He was stalling. That was my que to be quiet and let him speak, otherwise he would just keep letting me ask questions that he could answer to avoid saying what he really wanted to say. So I stopped talking, and just watched him, waiting.

Finally he took a breath.

"So, are you aware that Taehyung has kind of become...involved with Delaney?"

I nodded, aware that he'd been spending a lot of time with her outside of work. It didn't seem like a big deal, and it wasn't like any of us had a right to tell him he couldn't.

"Okay, well, there's a small issue with that whole situation."

"An issue. What kind of issue?"

He swallowed nervously.

"She isn't really 20. And she isn't going to be here for much longer. And Tae is going to be devastated, not to mention, heartbroken."

My brows drew together, and I tried to make sense of what he was saying.

"So, like, are you saying she lied about her age? Is she younger? If she's too young, I guess that could create a serious problem for Tae." Now I was a bit worried.

Jin shook his head. "No, she's not younger. She doesn't actually belong here, Namjoon. She made a wish, and it was granted. She just woke up here one morning, as a 20 year old."
