Tired and cranky?

I nodded, and realized that these boys spent practically every waking hour in front of a camera of some sort. They were always on display, always being watched. It made me frown to know that they basically lived their lives for their fans, allowing them to see them at their best, and also their worst. We've seen them happy, but we've also seen them break down in tears. We've seen them full of energy and ready to go, and we've seen them so tired they can barely stand up. Suddenly I felt sad.

~♡~

They worked so hard for us, and my heart hurt at the thought of what they'd given up. Any chance at a normal life was gone for them. They were in the spotlight, and they were loved by so many. They deserved it, but it came with a cost.

"Guys, remember, once this next performance is over, we get a week to ourselves." RM called out as the guys started to  walk  towards the door to go get ready for the video shoot.

They all hollered and jumped excitedly, Jungkook and Jimin goofing off and ending up with Jimin on Jungkook's back as they pushed out the door.

Knowing they would get that time off made me feel better. They needed a chance to rest.

Tae had walked over to where Hei Ran and I were standing.

"You're coming to watch the video shoot, right?"

"Of course we are silly, who else is going to make sure your hair and make up is okay?" Hei Ran said, pushing off the wall and heading for the door.

Tae smiled after her. "I guess she has a point."

The two of us started for the door, the last ones to leave the lounge. We followed the others out and across to the make up room, so we could get them ready.

Fifteen minutes later, we were all heading out to go down the hall to the room where the video would be shot. It was pretty cool to watch it, and we were giggling because they had to do it over since Jungkook sneezed and then J-hope started laughing right at the end before the camera cut.

They finally finished, and we all headed back so they could start practice. It was a long day, with a break for lunch and dinner.

It was almost time to call it a night, and I was helping Kyung Mi flip the chairs up in the radio room.

"What happens when they get their break for a week? What do we do?" I asked.

"We get a break too. We are here with them almost as much as they are here, even into the late evenings sometimes. So when they get time to themselves, so do we. We all have families that we miss, and Big Hit knows that. We don't always stay this late, many days they will tell us to go home by 6, but we stay when we think we need to, like now that they have another performance coming up."

"So, we just get to stay home for a whole week?"

"Yep, but we are on call, in case something comes up."

Wonderful. What the heck was I going to do for a week?

We finished with the chairs, and wandered into the practice room to see the guys all finished, wiping the sweat from their necks and faces.

I sighed. Another day had passed. I really didn't want this time to end. But I didn't have a choice. I knew that. If only I could slow down time, just a little.

"Delaney..."

I looked up to see Tae coming towards me, his towel draped around his neck, the front of his shirt wet with sweat.

"How come I don't have your phone number yet?" He asked with a smile.

Kyung Mi gave me a wink, and walked away, heading for J-hope.
