Better?

I finally had a name to put with her face, a name to add to my memories of her. I had no idea what her last name was, but it didn't matter. I just wanted to be able to think of her by her name.

JIMIN'S POV

A week had passed, and Taehyung was doing so much better than I thought he would be. We'd had the weekend off, thanks to Namjoon, because he thought Tae would need some time. None of us thought even two days would be enough. But Taehyung surprised us.

He was moody, and he sulked around the dorm all weekend, but as time passed, he seemed to get a little better. By evening of the first day, he had eaten dinner with everyone, sadness clear in his demeanor, but at least he hadn't closed himself in his room.

The second day, he came with Jungkook and I for the first half of the day, because Kookie wanted to see if he could find a new hoodie to replace his favorite one that he had apparently lost somewhere. Tae said he'd come, because he was bored and tired of sitting on his bed letting his thoughts take over.

He seemed preoccupied most of the time, but he easily laughed at our jokes, and seemed to enjoy being out with us. It seemed like he was going to be okay.

But later on that evening, I heard him crying in his room. I didn't knock, because I knew that if he needed someone to talk to, he would text me. I hated to walk away, but I also realized that he may just need some time alone.

He came in to work Monday morning with the rest of us, and we were all happy to see that he seemed focused. We practiced and discussed the world tour that was quickly approaching, and he was as involved as the rest of us in the conversation.

Min Jee was back, but it was as if she'd never been gone.  It was weird, because none of the girls really mentioned 'the girl that had taken over for Min Jee'. The guys didn't say anything, because I think we all wondered if maybe when she disappeared, the memory of her had disappeared for them as well.

We'd decided later that night to just not mention her in front of them. If one of them brought her up, then we'd go from there. Otherwise, it was like she hadn't existed for them.

We were all just glad that Taehyung had figured out her name. It seemed like just having that bit of knowledge made it a little easier for him with her gone. He wasn't great, but he was okay. We did our best to make him smile, but it didn't always work.

He had his moments when we all knew to just let him be. It had only been a week after all. Right now, he was in his room, having gotten upset because our manager had sent him a message saying that he needed to change his hair color to something not quite as...bright, before we left to start the tour.

His brows had furrowed, a frown appearing on his face, and I moved next to him to see what had happened. He showed me the message, shaking his head. Then he'd turned and gone down the hall, his door closing with a thud.

The rest of them looked at me, not knowing what had just happened.

"He got a message from Sejin ssi. He wants him to change his hair color before we leave to go on tour."

I didn't have to say anymore. We all knew that the reason he didn't want to change it was because Delaney had colored it that color.

"I think I'll see if he'll talk to me." I said, turning to go down the hall.

I knocked on his door lightly. "Tae-ah, it's me, can I come in?"

There was no reply, so after a minute, I turned the knob, hoping he hadn't locked the door. It opened, and I stepped into the room to see him sitting in the middle of his bed, cross legged, staring at nothing, brows drawn together in thought.
