Half over

I was glad he did. The days had gone by so quick, and I was getting anxious over the fact that my time was half over. I found myself wondering if Tae would decide to stay with me on my last night here. I wanted him to, because I didn't want to be alone. I started to wonder if I could just stay awake all night, because maybe if I did, it would prevent me from being able to go back. I didn't know if that would work, but I was willing to try almost anything.

~♡~

We arrived to work, being the first ones there after waking up early, and taking turns getting a shower, only because the shower stall was too small for us to shower together and be able to get clean.

"Are you okay?"

I looked at him, knowing he was referring to the fact that I had 15 days left. The same amount of days I'd been here. They had flown by. I was afraid this last 15 would fly by as well.

"Not really. I would give anything to be able to stop time right now."

He smiled, and I knew he was trying to lighten the mood, even though he was probably just as stressed out as I was.

"Me too."

He pulled me close to him, and I immediately glanced towards the lounge doors, worried someone besides Jimin or Jungkook would come in and catch us.

"Tae, we're going to get caught."

"I don't care. I'm not missing out on any chance I have to be close to you...not anymore. If someone doesn't like it, they can just not look."

I smiled into his shoulder as he hugged me, and I gladly stayed there, my arms tucked between us, hands pressed to his chest.

"You know, even though I said part of me is afraid to be with you on your last night here, I still want you with me. I want you to stay with me in my room at the dorm. I'm not sure how I'll handle it, but there's no way I could handle being away from you."

I was glad he'd said that. I absolutely didn't want to be alone on my last night. Granted, I planned to try and stay awake all night, but I would rather do it with Taehyung by my side than alone.

I nodded, and right about then the doors opened and Jungkook came in, spotting Tae and I, and giving us a sad smile. I wondered why he looked sad. He was usually so happy and full of energy. He didn't seem like himself at all.

"Hey Kook, what's wrong? You look like your cat just died."

He smirked. "I don't have a cat hyung." The smile melted away. "It's nothing, I'm just tired. Too many late nights playing video games when I should have been catching up on my sleep."

I wasn't sure if Tae believed him, but I sure didn't. Something was off about him. I moved to back away, but Taehyung didn't loosen his hold.

The door slammed opened and in walked Yoongi, also seemingly in a mood, and not a good one. Tae and I looked at each other, and I gestured for him to let me go. Yoongi glared at us, and walked to the vending machines, purchasing a coke and setting it on a table loudly.

None of us said a word to him, and Jungkook turned away, heading back out the door he'd come in.

Not even thirty seconds later, Jimin came in thru the doors, and actually gave us a smile.

"Hi guys. How was your week?" He asked as he walked to a table and set his bag down.

"It went by too quick." Tae said without hesitation.

We heard a grumble, and turned to see Yoongi grab his coke, and walk briskly out of the lounge. We both looked at Jimin, confused.

"What's up with him?"
