Rue Scarce

"Again." I say, watching as Williams's body move to do the things I instructed.
His punches on the punching bag in ways are undeniably strong, but not enough to be put to test.
After several more punches, I made him sit down on the cold floor with a rope in hand. The rope stretched up a couple lengths from his head and at the very top, a stone as small as a penny is tied.
"This will teach you to heighten your senses and will teach your body to be aware of the things happening to you as you take a rest. Even a small object can be dangerous and you must not keep your guard down if you don't want to get hurt." I explained as he looked up at the object dangling above him.
"There will be times that I will cut the rope, so you have to be cognizant because you won't even see nor hear me coming until you wake up."
After I elaborated, I walked out to the door without hearing a peep from him.
"I will see you in the morning." I grumbled, holding the doorknob to close the door behind me.
"Wait-- you're leaving me here for the night?"
He was devastated and tired I can tell, but I won't give him the satisfaction of living comfortably with me, so I didn't speak anymore and closed the door on him.
I gave him a very simple task to warm him up but I doubt he will end up successfully, not yet exactly. I can already hear his slow breathes as a sign of falling deep into sleep and then I hear something hitting him on the head. He began cussing and mumbling when he realised he had just failed at the very beginning and a smirk covered my lips.
After dismissing him in his room that night, I got a call from Mr Riot that I was given today a day off.
But instead of taking a rest, I was busy training this kid the whole day. He has been here for seven days now and I guess he's been doing good even with my lack of teaching.
I mentally cringed when I heard the stone hitting the child in the head. He's a child alright, both physically and mentally. He's still eighteen years old, just two years from my age and yet he's far from a good apprentice to match and keep up on my abilities.
I don't even know why he would choose me as his trainer when Sheer is better at taking care of them. And I don't even know if I have time to train him enough while I'm in a bind at the moment.

I took the whole night taking enough sleep before waking up early. I peeked in his room to find him sleeping with the rope still in hand. I walked towards him without a sound in my footsteps and held a knife in my grip.
I sliced the blade at the rope, cutting it as the stone quickly fell and hit him hard in the head. He awoke from the impact and was ready to yell when his eyes landed on my tall frame hovering over him.
"M-master..."
"Get up and get fresh. We're going out." I ordered, walking back to the door.
"Where?"
"Do not question me, Williams. Wear a casual attire appropriate for an expensive club. There are a bunch of clothes in the closet, you're free to use them."
I replied, closing the door behind me.
I wore a black sleeveless top and a skirt that only reached my knees. I grabbed a pair of black boots and put it on my feet before zipping it close. I know I hate showing a lot of skin, but for work, I'll make an exception. I also pulled on a brown short haired wig and fixed my look on the mirror.
