Rue Scarce

"I want each and everyone of you to memorize the structure of this yacht. No one leaves the room unless they have a map in their heads."

A series of obedient positive responses swam through the room as the men did as they were told.

"I'll mention this again, if you're going to plan things for the last night's grand finale, don't use my room." I say in a stern voice as I glared at every person standing in my room.

"If I remember correctly, you said you can lend me a hand anytime." Sheer tells me with a carefree voice.

Unlike the men she hired, she wasn't cowering under my gaze.

"I need to remind you, I specifically told you to call me if need be, not use my room without permission." I glowered.

"It can't be helped. The culprit may be keeping the other guests such as me under surveillance. You are the least suspicious among all of us since you accompany your boss and your boyfriend in this trip." Sheer shrugs, leaning against the bedstand.

"Using me as your cover is pointless. I already know who's possibly our man in this." I tell her and she finally sat up to look at me.

"Who?"

I look at her in the eye before averting my gaze and closing my eyes for a brief moment.

"It's my boss, Travis Stone. I figured it out yesterday after reading the files about Maverick. He's Fierce Montreal, I'm very much certain of it."

Sheer went silent for a while, the others did the same.

"That makes sense then. It's possible that he owns the drugs here. Other than him, I've got another suspect." She waves her hand and one of the men reached out to hand her a tablet.

Sheer swipes the screen first and clicked it several times before showing me an image.

"Troy Giordano. 25 years old, Italian. His mother married one of richest men in the Stone family, making him part of it. He's a legitimate son to Rafael Giordano, behind the scenes drug lord that's a big shot in the Black Market.

I heard his business bloomed when his son came back into town and frequently visits his drug cartels. So I became curious and pointed him out. He's the closest culprit we have. Other than that, he was caught on camera talking to the captain of this vehicle two weeks ago."

Sheer huffs while I scanned the video playing on-screen that displays Troy Giordano and another man speaking to each other.

"In that case, I won't do anything to catch attention. This man has me under his radar." I inform her.

I noticed Troy Giordano watching me from the sidelines after the dispute between him and Vindik.

Not only him, I also noticed some of the men that blend in the family and some employees working on this yacht are following me with their gazes.

You'd think hiring random people to spy on a single woman would work and it'll go unnoticed, that is unless that certain woman is a professional assassin.

If they're trying to spy on me, then they are not doing a good job.

"Well, fuck. Why didn't you say so?" Sheer abruptly stood and ordered the others to pack up so they could leave.

"You barged in without letting me know. Besides, I can guarantee that they wouldn't come near this room unless needed." I turn from her and headed to the bathroom.
