I didn't get a chance to kill someone. Probably because I was running out towards the entrance as if I was the one being chased. I shot a few people who tried to kill me and I managed to escape the place.

I swiftly went in the car, driving off the parking lot and around the building. Swerving a little bit to park perfectly at the back of the building.

Before I could assume what to do next, the back door bursts open, revealing Rue and the guy Brad Lithe in tow. I opened the door in the back seat for them to enter.

She literally dragged him like a dog with a leash and when he wouldn't comply, she kneed him in the stomach.

He bends to clutch his probably bruised belly but Rue used her foot to kick him inside the car.

"Drive." She orders, closing the door beside her.

I did as told, stomping on the gas pedal and turned the car around to leave the grounds.

"You bitches are going to pay for this. I'm--" Before the guy could continue his almost nonexistent threat, my master raised her hand and hit him on the back of his neck like a sword slash.

His head bows and his whole consciousness faded away.

"Where to?" I asked, looking straight.

"Follow these coordinates. Then we'll know for sure." She mumbled the last part that I could barely hear it.

For sure? What does she mean?

We drove in complete and utter silence and I tried so hard not to notice her coat in disarray that I can see her white collarbone and cleavage just beneath her sleeveless top.

And then the memories of her body rubbing against mine just a while ago made me feel uncomfortable. We even kissed... I'm lying if I say it didn't turn me on, heck it felt great. But when she said that I'll have to control my sexual needs to benefit in the future, I then realized that I was the only who got flustered.

She's strong... So strong that I know she could kill me without lifting a finger. Is that how professional assassins are? She said that she's in the Mafia, which is far more dangerous than a single renowned gang.

I don't even know how I got into a situation where I was living with a skilled killer, neither did I imagine being trained by one.

I glanced at Rue in the rear view mirror before asking.

"May I ask if you used your own weapons in the riot?"

"No. I didn't bring a gun in that matter."

This time my eyes widened in shock.

"How--"

"We're here." She cuts me off. I didn't realise we were driving for more than thirty minutes until I checked my watch.

We were standing in the middle of the woods, a house stood in front of us that looked like someone has been staying here.

I got cut off from my thoughts when Rue opened the door beside her and pulled the guy's body out. I went out to her side to help her but to my surprise, she hauled him towards the house like holding a fucking teddy bear.

This woman is making me more and more terrified of her. Other than her name, I didn't get the chance to know anything about her. But at our first encounter in the abandoned facility, Tristan mentioned that she has a husband and she's on a chase from him.

Not to mention, I began to notice the bump under her clothes. She's pregnant.

Who is she really?
