The woman in the photo (real story)

This event happened more or less over a year ago, during Christmas.

I went with my family to a little old house at the mountain where our grandparents lived, where each Christmas we stayed for a couple of days with our uncles and cousins.

My cousin, who was 30 more or less at the time, had the idea of searching the garage where all the old things were. The house belonged to our family for more than a century, so we won't find anything from some previous owners if that was what he searched for.

We found lots of things, but it was a box full of old pictures that got our attention, and we started looking at them.

We found photos from all over the 20th century, but most of us had already seen them. What caught our attention the most were some photos of our great great grandparents or something in what appeared to be the early 20s.

In every single one of those photos, there was an old woman that appeared to be gypsy, she had fully white eyes and was missing some teeth. She also had a fake hand that she was holding against her chest. We asked the eldest people in that house, who recognized our ancestors in the photos, but didn't know who that old woman was.

She appeared in every single photo that was in that primitive black and white style, with a serious look on her face and with the same pose, behind everyone, like if she was photo shopped there.

We found it strange and we scared the little kids with it, but we moved on after some time to look for other things.

The weirdest part came the day after, when suddenly every photo where she appeared was missing. This freaked me out and bugged me for the rest of our stay in the house. This day we still haven't found them.
