(TRUE STORY) Heard this yesterday from a friend. Her favorite waitress at her favorite restaurant - we'll call her Delia - was out for a couple weeks. Upon her return, she shared why. Actually she said, "what? They didn't tell you?"

Friend was confused. No, what happened?

A month ago, Delia had matched with a cute guy on Tinder and everything was going great. They Face Timed and talked a lot about meeting up. He told her he wanted to cook her dinner, and when she arrived at his apartment, he went all out. Meatballs, pie, etc. She was very flattered and ate everything.

Shortly after she started to feel sick. She went to the bathroom and started throwing up. It got worse - she was throwing up blood. She called 911 and they told her to come to the ER. She did and was sick and for two days.

When she woke up, the police were there. They told her they needed to know what she had eaten, and when, and where that day. She mentioned she worked at a restaurant. "We've already been there," they said, "where else?"

She mentions the man and the date, gives them his address, name and phone number.

"Why?" She asks, "what happened to me?"

"You've eaten human flesh," they replied.

They go to the address. It's an Airbnb, paid for with a stolen credit card. The phone number is a burner. He's disappeared, and there's no way to find him.

All Delia has are photos pulled from Tinder. She gave them to the police.

This man is currently active in the LA area. If you are a female using Tinder, be aware.
