Has anyone else here experienced this before?

I used to work for a small firm. Our office was located on the 9th floor of a relatively small building. One day I needed to work overtime to rush a report and decided to stay at work until 11pm. As expected, I was the only employee left in the office. I turned off my computer and called it a day. When I went towards the only lift in the BUILDING and pushed the "going down" button, I noticed that the indicator saying that the lift was moving up or down wasn't moving. And so I tried it again. And again. And again. Before I pushed the button for the fourth time I remembered that the management had started the lift maintenance that would be done from 9:00pm onwards until the next morning. Maybe that was the reason why everyone seemed to be leaving work earlier than 9.

I had no choice but to use the stairs. I plugged my earphones and started scrolling through my Instagram as I made my way down. I was on the 6th floor, I think, when I felt something was wrong. I came from the 9th floor yet 3 full-length songs had been played already. I shrugged it off at first and continued scrolling Instagram and watching people's stories. I almost finished of the stories when I lift my eyes from my phone. In my surprise I saw the number 4 on the wall suggesting that I'm on the 4th floor. It felt like I'd been going down the stairs forever! I used the stairs a couple of times prior to that and it would always take a short time to reach the ground floor from our office. I started walking down the stairs again while low-key checking the floor number in my peripheral view. I almost fell when I noticed that the floor below and right after the previous floor still said 4. That's when I started running down and the floor numbers started to count down as they should. I reached the ground floor almost 15 minutes after I left our office floor. The building's security saw me catching my breath. He asked me if I was okay. I simply said "yeah" though I obviously I wasn't. His reply made me thought that something mysterious was happening in that building. He replied, "I'm sorry if you had to take the stairs. The lift is weird around night and takes longer to go down. So we thought maybe it should take a rest too."

I still don't know what's up with those floors and that building when it's nighttime. Was there a magical portal that opened every night affecting space and time? Was there some ghostly thing or some sort happening? I didn't and still don't know. What I know is that I never stayed at work later than 8pm.
