The Tiger Man

This story happened in 2011 and I was only 9 years old,

It was Halloween but none of my friend trick or treated and my mum didn't really like me doing it anyway, so we just stayed in. My mum said to me "since your not doing anything and we have no dinner wanna get McDonalds or something?" As probably all children would do I shouted yes! Me and my mum we went out got McDonalds and decided to just sit in. A man came inside and he was wearing a tiger mask, this didn't seem weird since he was probably dressing up for Halloween, that's what I thought but my mum thought it was suspicious since this man was like mid 40 early 50s. Anyway, I finished my meal and we left. When I got in the car I saw the tiger man and I told my mum that he was signalling me to come over (he was) my mum looked and she saw he had a happy meal in his hand. That was a red flag to my mum and she drove off. 5 minutes later we had about 3 minutes to get home, my mum noticed a black van with tinted windows coming towards us, and driving right beside her. It opened the window and looked at my mum.. it was the tiger man. My mum thought if this man was following us she can't go to our house so she decided to drive to a Tesco or Asda or something, she took me and ran into it and she told a cashier everything, I don't really know why but I'm grateful she did because the cashier had a scared look on her face, and told 2 other staff workers to stand at the door. I was so confused. Things happened and about 3 years later (I was 12) I still didn't know. I remembered it and asked my mum about it, she told me

The tiger man has went in that store and got Locks, chains and a tiger mask.. a cashier got suspicious and asked "why all this stuff?" The man said "Halloween decorations" the cashier found that normal so she left it. She warned all the other stuff in case tho. That's why the cashier got so scared. And here's another thing: He lived near my house and he had been stalking us waiting for the perfect moment.

This story seems really stupid.. but it's terrifying..

If I read this from someone else I would think it was dumb.. but being the person it happened to .. it's terrifying.
