This is a story from when I was really young so it may have been skewed through me remembering it so many times and me being really young and tired.
When I was around 6 or 7 years old, I lived with my mom in a dinky little apartment on the ground level. I shared a bed with my sister and brother but only my sister slept with me that night, she was probably 3 or 4 at the time. Anyways, I had been laying in bed and even when I was young I was quite the insomniac so I was just staring at the wall when I heard a small tapping sound. Really slowly, I turned around to see the window and I saw that someone was out there, but I don't think they saw me. I could only really see a shadow but I was scared. Then, the figure started to slowly slide my window open, and I could hear my heartbeat out of my chest. Once the window was opened, I could see that it was wearing a mask, it was black and white, definitely a Halloween mask, I think it was that one guy from kiss but idk. Anyways it opened the window and climbed through and then dropped to the floor. I was freaking out at this point but once I saw the mask, I began to think it was my grandpa, considering he had the same mask. (Remember I was really young). The figure was on the door and I heard it crawl to the side of the bed that my sister was on, so I couldn't see it anymore. I did my best to pretend I was asleep. Then, it f*cking crawled onto the bed. This is where it gets questionable. As it crawled onto the bed, I stopped pretending I was asleep and dead ass looked it in the eyes. The it dropped down next to me and I think it looked at me. I acted like I was going back to sleep and after like 10 minutes I opened my eyes again and said that I was going to the bathroom and not to worry cuz I'll be back. I opened my door and walked to the bathroom and I passed the living room, where my mom was sitting on the couch. I went to the bathroom and on my way back to my room I said goodnight to my mom and went back to room AND DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING!! I don't know why! I remember that I was like "it won't hurt me if I'm really nice to it" so I guess maybe I didn't want it to hurt me if my mom didn't believe me or something but yeah. Anyways I ended up going back to my room and laying in bed and the thing had turned to its side and faced me and I guess I ended up falling asleep. The reason I didn't just blow it off as a dream was because of how vivid it was and I asked my mom the next morning if she remembered me saying goodnight and she did.
