The time I almost got Kidnapped

One day I was home and my friend was over it was a nice day out. So I decided why don't we go for a walk with my dog. So me and my friend Alexa went for a walk with my dog. We went walking down my road and turned down and dead end. We went to the end of the road and turned bc around and started going back. But also at the time she didn't have a phone and my phone had been turned off due to not paying the phone bill. We were only in middle school at the time. We walked back to the main road were I lived but when we got to the stop sign to turn there was this old pick up truck. It was rusty and was yellow and blue I still remember what it looks like to this day because it was so scary what happened next. At first we didn't think much of it he stopped at the stop sign like your supposed to. We were almost by the stop sign at that point but then he started to drive but very slowly so we stopped walking and once he got to the other side of the road he stopped and at that point we knew something was wrong. We just looked at the truck and then I saw the guy in the car and he was looking at us. Then he started to turn around so we ran and hide in the bushes of one of my best friends house bc she lived on that dead end. But she wasn't home at the time then the truck started coming down the road very slowly so we ran into my best friends backyard and hide behind the gate and I looked through the crack of the gate looking at him he drove down the road came but up then went back down again he was looking for us. Then he got out of his car and started to come by the bushes that we were hiding in the first time so we ran to her garage very quite. I knew where they hide there spare key and I got it and opened the door and we hide in her garage and locked the door my dog was growling bc he knew there was someone there. At that point I started to cry so did my friend because we thought we were never gonna go home again. But after 20 minutes we decided to go back out. We went to the gate and I didn't see his car so we made a ran for my house. I don't think I've ever ran that fast in my life. When we left I saw the truck at the end of the dead end he started to drive we got to my house before he turned from the dead end. We went to my widow in my living room and looked for the truck he drove very slowly down the road looking for us then he gave up bc there were so many more houses and side roads that he didn't know were we went. After that I didn't go for walks for a while without my mom or dad. I'm sure your all probably thinking but you had your dog with you he could have attacked him yes my dog is a big dog. But I wasn't sure if the guy had a weapon of some sort and I didn't want him to hurt my dog because my dog is my everything I did the smart thing in my opinion.
