By popular request, here is another true story. This is about something that happened when I was fourteen. So it was the summer of 2011, my best friend at the time and I had met a couple who lived in a hotel. She had hooked up with the guy's girlfriend and stuff. I was recently out of the closet as gay. About a month into this friendship, it changed. She and them began fighting and arguing. And had threatened us many times. Throughout the few months they were harassing her and I. School begins and they begin threatening our lives. I had become so scared that I brought a pocket knife I had found, to school. I was caught and given an out of school suspension. Shortly after Is when I came close to being harmed or killed. It was a very sunny and warm weekend day. I had gone to the library to use the computer as well didn't have internet at home or good books. I spent a couple hours online then spent another reading, completely unaware that they were also there, watching me. 4'oclock comes and I put my things back and leave. I don't get very far before I notice they're following me out of the building. Naturally I cross the street opposite them to avoid confrontation as I had no idea their intentions. I'm halfway up the street when I hear this loud roar in my head just yell "run". I booted out of fear of the voice and of them, unknowing until I turn and see them on the other side of the street, chasing me. That's when i see it. He was holding a large object in his hand as he and his fiancé chased me. I get to the convenience store alleyway, nearly knocking over a friend of mine. She sees what he's holding instantly as he's now behind me. She saw him tuck it into his waistband. She pulled me aside and said did you know he had a gun. I told her I just felt like I needed to run away from them. I truly believe the voice I heard telling me to run, saved my life. Let me know if you want more of these horrifyingly true stories.
