Thirty One

"Why are you lying ?" Sehun drops the bag on the floor right when he crosses the threshold and turns to LuHan.

LuHan takes a deep breath before speaking up.

"Can't you just forgive me, Sehun?" He begs.

"I can't. For you who never knew about the pain she was going through.. I can never forgive you, hyung. Never."

Sehun looks away through the shutter as he ignores the so called crown prince.

" I know all I have given her is pain. But I really wanna pay for my sins now. Behalf of all the years she suffered because of me, I wanna make the rest of her life more beautiful than ever. "

"You just want her back in the planet. I know you already.."

"I never got to know her Sehun." Luhan cuts him off.

"You never cared to get to know her." Sehun corrects under his breath.

"I just wanna be back with her. To be what she wanted me to be, her prince who loves her and cherishes her."

"Hyung, why do you think she remembered me , but not you ?" Luhan is puzzled.

"She talked with me only once and all the memories with me came running back to her when hyung has spent weeks with her, but she didn't remember anything. Can't you see why ?" Sehun talked in rage with his eyes showing off his anger.

"Sehun, I ..." Luhan tried to talk but Sehun stopped him.

"You don't know. You can't understand. You never understood and never will, hyung." Sehun feels the warmth of the hot tears rolling down through the skin on his face as he recalls the painful times.

"How many times ?" He speaks up. "How many times have you seen her face in the four long years you called yourselves married ? Six ? Seven ? Even those times was it what she thought she had to call 'good times' ? Were they, hyung ? You probably had to show up before that pathetic father of ours and had to act up as if you two were truly in love and ready to take the world ?"

LuHan is hurt and the little brother of his speaking up now, he sees the pinch of pain Rian had gone through for so long.

"And that was not all of it, was it , hyung ? Do you know how many times I caught her crying her soul out after the harsh words you threw at her ? Not just the words, you actually pushed her to hit the wall in the throne room once. Remember ? Have you even tried to imagine once how painful it would be to go through all that shit because of the person you love ?"

"Sehun.. " Knowing he has no excuse to bring up, LuHan still tries to defend himself.

"She does not deserve anything hyung made her go through. The day she finally decided to let go of all your shit and leave the entire planet to flee to earth, do you know the final request she made of me ? Do you know ? She wanted me to let the so called prince know that she fled the planet with another guy, presumably a guard. Suho even came up, and said he would go with her. Suho volunteered to give his life's worth to cover up some bullshit of yours. If it was not for Jaein who was brave enough to lie in front of the king, we would have been here to look for a traitor now"

LuHan's heart was being ripped apart hearing every single thing which had made his crown princess' life a hell when he was living the time of his life, with the girl he thought he loved.

"You may love her , hyung, you may." He continues. "But if you ever hurt her again, once, more, again, you will see what this brother of hers can do for her. I will cross any border for her. I am not that child anymore Hyung, I grew up. And thanks to you, without her." He says as he sniffs and tries to wipe his tears off.

"And what about Eunhwa ? You love Rian now, so what about her ? You will abandon her now ? Just switch the roles ?" Sehun smirks through his tears as he leaves the room.
