Shoto's pov

I was walking to Aizawa's house. Mr Aizawa had told her to go home ahead of him since he still had things to do. He also gave her money to get food on the way back.
"So what do you want to eat?" she asked, head tilted to the ground.
"I'm not bothered" I replied. She nodded. We went into a nearby supermarket and looked around. She looked at different meal foods while I just watched her behavior. She kept looking at how much of different substances each product had. She wasn't even just looking at the ingredients. It was the calories and other items. I raised an eyebrow, suspicious why she'd be so fixated on those kinds of things. It didn't look like she was on a diet and if she was, Mr Aizawa wouldn't have told her to get anything. She eventually choose some easy to heat up noodles, picking up two packets.
"Choose a drink and a snack" she told me, walking over to the drinks. I picked up a fizzy drink and a snack. Aizawa chose some flavored water but not a snack. We payed for it all then proceeded to go to her house. When we walked in, I was surprised by all the cats in her house. One of them came over and rubbed against my left leg, purring. Aizawa just walked through the living room, stepping over one cat that was in her path.
"My room's upstairs" she explained, having dropped the food in the kitchen. I just nodded, stepping over the cats since I didn't want to hurt them. We walked up the stairs as Aizawa led me to one room, opening the door. I walked in and sat on her bed. She took out her notes from her bag and placed them on her desk.
"What methods do you usually use?" I asked.
"I try to read them but I can't concentrate" she replied. I got up and picked up her notes, reading them over. I asked her a question relating to the first paragraph. She stared at me, panic on her face.
"Ugh............" was all she said, eyes darting all around her. I waited for her to respond, not wanting to rush her. Her facial expression didn't change in the slightest.
"Well that kind of method doesn't work" I mumbled. She looked down at the ground.
"I'm sorry. You don't have to stay and help me. I'm just an idiot" she muttered, staring at her knees.
"Your just a slow learner. Either that or the methods you use don't help. You just need to try different study methods" I explained. We spent most of the afternoon and some of the evening trying different study techniques. All of them failed. We took a break for dinner which Aizawa barely ate any of. Mr Aizawa came back, being helped by Present Mic.
"Your still here" he sighed.
"You'll have to stay the night. It's getting late" He explained. Aizawa took me back up to her room.
"You can sleep in my bed tonight. I'll take the floor. It would be rude for the guest to sleep on the floor" she explained, getting spare bedding and pillows from her cupboard. I didn't object. I settled down on the bed, trying to get comfortable after the lights had been turned off. However, no matter how much I tried to get comfortable, I couldn't. Something was under the pillow that was bugging me. I reached my hand under and pulled whatever wass under the pillow. It was a wooden box. I furrowed my eyebrows.
'Why does she have a box under her pillow?' I thought. I looked over to Aizawa. She was on the floor, back facing me. I opened the box as quietly as possible so she wouldn't hear it. She didn't turn to look at me so she didn't hear it. I looked back at the box and I had to catch myself from choking on air. Two metal blades, blunt from being used so much were in the box. There was little blood stains on the inside of the box which had turned a dark maroon colour. I closed the box and hid it under the cushions on the bottom of the bed. I turned onto my side, facing away from Aizawa. I tried to get to sleep but the image of that box wouldn't leave my mind. I ended up just laying awake most of the night.
