Shoto's pov
Mr Aizawa ran up to the front desk, practically shouting at the man behind the desk while I stood next to Mic. He fiddled about with the glasses he wore. He wasn't wearing his loud speaker or hero clothes, just his civilian clothes like Mr Aizawa. I directed my gaze to my feet. This was probably hard for both of them. They will have known Tamaki for a long time, Mr Aizawa knowing her since she was born. No wonder Mr Aizawa was so mad. The man behind the desk shakily handed a slip of paper to Mr Aizawa who snatched it out of his hand and looked at it. He scanned over it before walking over to the lift, pressing a button and waiting for the lift. I looked at Mic who sighed but walked over. I followed. We all got in the lift. Mr Aizawa seemed very impatient right now but then again, he's worried about Tamaki. We reached the 5th floor and stepped out, following Mr Aizawa to where the room was since neither of us knew. Two doctors stood outside a room with with a closed door which was unusual since every door we'd passed up until now was open. Mr Aizawa stopped in front of the doctors who turned to look.
"Are you Mr Aizawa?" one asked, gripping onto a clipboard.
"Yes" Was all Mr Aizawa responded. I stood close, still next to Mic who looked ready to extend a hand to Mr Aizawa.
"Ms Aizawa is in there but we should warn you that she hasn't let any doctors or nurses anywhere near her. Anytime someone tries to get close she starts screaming and kicking. If you get close then it'll be a miracle" The doctor explained. I gulped in an attempt to hide the whimper in my throat. Mr Aizawa nodded, turning to the closed door. He opened it, walking in. I followed with Mic in front of me. Tamaki was in the room, pressed up against the wall that her bed was up against, legs pulled to her chest and head leaned on her knees with her arms wrapped around her legs. Mr Aizawa walked forward. I heard Tamaki whimper and I could see her body shaking.
"Tamaki?" he asked, sitting on the bed. I stayed back. It was best to see if Mr Aizawa could talk to her first. She lifted her head enough so that I could see her eyes look over at who was talking but that was all she did.
"Don't worry. I won't hurt you" he assured her, looking over the untreated injuries. The doctors weren't even exaggerating. They've not even been able to clean up her wounds. She didn't respond. Mr Aizawa reached out and placed one hand on Tamaki's shoulder only for Tamaki to scramble away into the corner of the bed, shaking more violently than before. I could see the hurt on Mr Aizawa's face. I stepped forward.
"Tamaki?" I asked, wanting her attention. She looked up but her body was still shaking.
"You're alright. No one is going to hurt you anymore. Everyone here just wants to help you" I explained, she lowered her head again, her shaking not calming down. My words had done nothing. Usually they at least help a little but they did nothing. She's still riled up.
"Tamaki. Please at least let the doctors help you. You need these injuries treated" Mr Aizawa pleaded, his voice breaking. He was falling apart at the sight of this. Another whimper from Tamaki. I bit my lip, trying to stop myself from crying. This wasn't what I'd planned to happen when I took her to my house. It's all my fault.
