Shoto's pov

I leaned on my knees, panting with bruises littering my body and slightly torn clothes. The league had gotten away. They had escaped with Bakagou. I couldn't even properly register what happened. I looked around, not sure what I was looking for. Then it hit me. Tamaki had gone missing not to long before the league attacked. Tamaki could have been taken by the league or even attacked and left to die somewhere in the vast landscape of the camp. I scrambled to my knees and ran into the trees again, ignoring the cries of the others. I kept running despite the pain in my muscles from everything that happened. I passed that guy with the strange teeth quirk in my escapade but I didn't touch him. I just kept looking for Tamaki.
"TAMAKI!" I yelled, trying to find her. Still nothing. I ran deeper into the woods until I came across blue flames lapping at the trees. Fear and panic rose up inside me and I ran into the flames, using my ice to calm them down as best I could in my panicked state. I kept looking until I found something black on the ground that was coming out from a dip in the ground where a tree sat. I ran over and found the source of the black object. It was Tamaki's hair. She lay unconscious on the ground, fire lapping against the tree she was next to, reaching her back and leg. I put out the fire as quickly as possible before trying to pull her out of the dip against the tree. She wouldn't budge. I tried again. Still nothing. I looked at why I couldn't bring her out of it. Her leg was caught under a bit of the tree's root. I bent forward and struggled about to free her foot, finally freeing it. I pulled her onto the flat ground, checking where the fire had reached. Her top and trouser leg was completely burned off and some of the skin was badly burned too. I rolled her onto her back but she didn't respond in the slightest. I placed my ear against her chest to check for a heartbeat. There was none.
"Tamaki!" I yelled, trying to get her to wake up. Her entire body didn't move in the slightest. I started pressing down on her chest, trying to get her heart to start up again. She still didn't respond. I felt tears welling up in my eyes, stinging them as they threatened to fall. I heard the sound of sirens and could just make out the blue and red flashing lights as a sliver of hope filled my body. I as quickly but as gently as possible picking Tamaki up bridle style and ran in the direction of the sirens. I arrived at the main building and saw the police and a few ambulances. Students were being treated by doctors. From Midoriya who was having his arms looked at to Tetsutetsu who from what I heard, had been shot several times. Mr Aizawa spotted us and ran over.
"What happened?" he asked.
"I don't know. She isn't breathing and her heart isn't beating" I replied.
"Get her over to the doctors" He ordered. I ran over as they looked at Tamaki. One checked her wrist then snapped their head around.
"This one needs immediate medical attention" they yelled. Another doctor took Tamaki from me gently and put her on a stretcher in one of the ambulances. Mr Aizawa walked up to me.
"Go with her. She needs someone there with her and I need to stay here" he ordered. I nodded and climbed into the ambulance, taking Tamaki's hand. The doors of the vehicle were closed and it started up, sirens blaring. The doctors put an oxygen mask on her and started talking with each other and telling her to hold on. I kept a tight hold of her hand, the voices of the doctors becoming quite murmurs. I felt the tears break free and run down my cheeks, stinging my bruises slightly. We arrived at the hospital and Tamaki was taken into immediate care as I waited for any news.
"Please be alright" I whispered.
