Ch21: Forest training camp

Shoto's pov

I walked onto the bus that we would be traveling on to the training camp and looked around. I found Tamaki leaning against the window of a seat further up the bus. I smiled softly and walked over, sitting next to her. She looked at me with a surprised look.
"Aren't you going to sit with someone else?" she asked. I pulled her close.
"I'd rather sit with you" I told her, burying my face into her mane of hair. She sat quite stiffly fora couple minutes before relaxing into me and leaning her head into my neck.
"You like leaning into my neck I see" I laughed.
"It's warm" she mumbled, hand grasping onto my shirt. I smiled and laid my head on top of hers, closing my eyes.

Tamaki's pov

I knelled on the ground, panting heavily. I looked over at the sound of yelling before shaking my head, realizing it was Bakagou. I opened my eyes again, taking hold of the metal pole I'd been given. I dropped it after a couple seconds, blinking to relieve my eyes.
"

Come on Tamaki, you can do better than that" Dad grumbled.
"Right" I replied, picking up the pole and trying again. This time I felt a pain in my left eye and put my hand up next to it.
'Dammit. This damn injury keeps causing so many issues with my quirk' I thought.
"Keep going Tamaki" Dad ordered. I nodded and opened my eyes again. If I wanted to overcome this injury then I'd have to work harder. My quirk wasn't as strong as everyone else's because I hadn't used it for so long. I needed to work harder to improve it.

Shoto's pov

I looked around, trying to find Tamaki. She had disappeared after training today and hadn't said anything about where she was going. I walked over to Bakagou who was with Kirishima.
"Bakagou?" I asked.
"What do you want half n half?" he grumbled.
"

Have you seen Tamaki?" I asked.
"Why would I know where the stupid brat is? She ran off somewhere but I didn't pay attention" he snapped. Kirishima looked at me and his face confirmed that Bakagou was the reason Tamaki ran off.
"I think I saw her run over there" Kirishima explained. I nodded.
"Don't tell him that" Bakagou yelled. I walked in the direction that Kirishima had pointed to.
"Tamaki! Tamaki!" I yelled, looking the surrounding trees but found nothing. I wandered around for a bit before heading back to the main building. Maybe she'd gone back there. I got back but didn't see her. I walked over to Midoriya.
"Midoriya" I spoke, he looked to me with a questioning look.
"Have you seen Tamaki?" I asked.
"Aizawa? No. The last time I saw her was when we were training. Sorry Todoroki" he replied. I looked back at the trees.
'Could she be in there? But I looked around most of the area. How could I miss her?' I thought. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go look for her again because I was asked to help cook dinner. I'd have to find her later.
