Chapter 40: I'll Still Wait For You

A/N: Have you checked out reve festival day 1? Honestly if Day1 is so beautiful I wonder how day2 and final would be. 6 title tracks in one album were beautiful. My favorites were sunny side up and LP along with the title zimzalabim. What's yours?

Irene pov:

"Does that mean you still love me?", Junmyeon asks again while holding my hand. I look down at his hand which is making me remember the fimilar touch.

"I do love you and always will. You're my best friend. I admit it's hard for me to completely get over you but...."

"If you could have said this a bit sooner, I wouldn't have-", he starts to say something, I never want him to regret so I cut it off myself.

"You wouldn't have what Junmyeon?! You love her! Don't you? Now that you have her don't do anything stupid", I shout out loud this time and remove his hand away from mine.

"Then look into my eyes and say you are ok with it", he says turning me around with his hands on my shoulder while looking straight into my eyes. I stare at him without moving a bit.

"You're insane", I say before removing his hands off me and storming off the place.

Of course it still bothers me but I'm happy for him

He can't do anything about my emotions

I have to deal with them myself

I stop by the pool side bar and Junmyeon stomps down the stairs in frustration. I don't find any tears in my eyes but my heart hurts and I don't know how to stop that. I wish I had Jin here with me.

I should stop getting him involved in my mess

"Ahh.. Oh god", I sigh as I bang my head on the bar counter and close my eyes.

"Hey hey customer what would you like to have?", I hear a fimilar voice from the other side of the counter.

A small smile forms on my face as I look up at him "Jin! What are you doing hear?", I say with an awfully cheerful voice as I notice his big beautiful smile.

What's happening to me?

"So... I was thinking if you would want to have some drinks with me by the pool side? It's quite relaxing you know", He says bringing out two soju bottles and beer cans.

"Hmm...but I feel hungry when I drink", I say as I pout my lips and look at those tempting drinks in his hands.

"I've got you covered", he says bringing out some grilled beef.

"Yaah are you a genie?", I say as I laugh at him.

"Well.. You might say that", he says as he smirks. I smile at him and help him carry them to the poolside.

"How do you know what I need so well?", I ask as we move our legs in the water and complete the first bottle of soju.

"What are friends for?", he says making me upset. Ok I know there's nothing going on between us, it's all an act and I still haven't gotten over my ex completely but I still can't help this feeling.

Is something wrong with me?

The cold weather starts hitting me and my whole upper body except for the legs which are placed in warm water start shivering. I take another bottle of soju and drink up. He starts talking and I listen "You know my members couldn't believe when we became friends a few months ago and now they're still processing that I'm", I feel a warm hand wrap around my shoulder and look to my side to find Jin wrapping his coat around both of us.
