Chapter 42: Taste Of Their Own Medicine

V pov:

"Taehyungah what happened to Sooyoung? Why was she crying?", Jimin asks as almost everyone gathers in the living room as I  try to follow her.

"I messed up", I hang my head and sit on stairs as I tell the the whole deal.

"You idiot!",  Wendy noona says as she moves me aside and walks up the stairs with Irene noona.

"What were you even thinking?", Baekhyun says as he sighs.

"Where's jungkook?", Yeri asks as she stops in her tracks before going up.

"He's in the backyard", I say  as my eyes start getting heavy. Yeri and Hoseok leave looking for him.

"I thought you were going to tell her and Jungkook sepearately. How did she?", Seulgi noona speaks as she looks at me confused.

"You knew about it?", Yoongi asks as he looks at her.

"Yes. I thought deserves to her about it himself", she says as she sighs.

"I didn't know she was there noona. I'm sorry. I really didn't think about it. I was just scared to hurt Jungkook's feeling and  didn't even realize it would hurt her so much eventually. I should have just been more brave and showed her that I loved her", I say as I find myself crying.

"Yaah pabo!", Jimin smacks me before sitting next to me and giving me a hug "-Taehyungah everything's gonna be okay. Please don't cry", he speaks as I break down.

Jungkook pov:

"Jungkookah are you okay?", I see Hoseok and Yeri coming towards me as I keep kicking  the rocks I find to ease my frustration and pain.

I should have been quick and confessed to her before

Why am I always late and realizing?

Now I made her cry

This bet was wrong from the start!

"Oppa are you okay?", Yeri asks as she takes my hand and stops me from moving around.

"I'm just mad at myself cause I didn't realize it sooner. I should have said it before. I should have known it before. I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't have started this bet at all", I say as I sigh.

"Oppa I'm sorry. Please don't blame yourself. I should have told you about this earlier. I have no idea you liked unnie", Yeri says feeling sorry for me.

"It's okay Yerimah. I should've known earlier. Atleast told you earlier. I'm just always late. I don't even know if she'll be my friend again"

"Why does hyung have to do this? I feel sorry for him. He should have just told me. I'm not a baby to be protected", I say I look down.

"Jungkookah you're more mature than most of us at times. You know how we can be. Taehyung must have just been scared to tell you. Trust me it's not that easy especially since it's  your brother. Give him a chance", Hoseok hyung says as he wraps his hand around my shoulder.

"And I know Sooyoung unnie. She will melt very quick. Don't worry about that. She'll come around", Yeri says as assures me and I  smile at my silly friends.

"Ahh you finally smiled", Hoseok and Yerim say before hugging me. I smile at them and hug them back.

Joy pov:

"Hey Sooyoungah wait for me", Chanyeol follows me as I walk up the stairs. My tears start falling which I keep trying to hold back.
