Familiar Faces In Old Places And The Football Team, Also About Damn Time, Love the Hair

I couldn't figure out how I felt about my next class. I couldn't narrow one particular feeling despite the thousands of potential feelings begging to be acknowledged. But I could look at the facts of the given situation I was about to approach.

I was heading to music class in which I had never actually formally taken, ironically, given my passion and not to mention the fact that I was in a band.

I was heading to class with not just my brother, but the entire football team, Ryan and my old friend turned teacher Eli. So yeah. I had no idea what to expect but I was hoping Eli would assign the triangle to Ryan. He'd be annoyed. One thing I'd know for certain is that Eli didn't take bullshit from anyone so if Ryan would even think of pitching a fit, Eli would put a stop to that.

Although I had an inkling Eli would make friends with some of the football team given the change I had seen in Falcon the other day. I could see that some people could change. I mean I did, Falcon did. I guess only time would tell. It always did.

I headed off down the senior hallway past the locker bay and downstairs toward the auditorium to music class. I approached the very place that had been the only safe haven as a middle schooler. It was saddening to think that my tormentors would be in my safe haven. I didn't want to share.
