【Chapter 8.1】

"Of course. I honestly just forgot." I reply to Nash. I set my phone face side down knowing I would have to let Noah know what happened soon. And Dad for that matter. I really didn't think Jules would be so careless. She knew about my time in rehab, so I was shocked. And disappointed.

"It's okay." Nash reminds me, trying to lighten my mood up.

"No, it's not. Not you Blue, but It wasn't okay what Jules did." He replies with anger.

"I agree. Now can we move on and forward? I'll tell Dad and Noah about it later and we can figure it out then?" I reply eyeing the lunch menu on the table with a list of all the calories for each sandwich. I can't look at it anymore and so I close it moving it to the side. Chase watches me the entire time.

I release a sigh and focus on what I learned at rehab. What I practiced with Noah. Healthy is happy. 1 step. Then another. No more, and no less. I can't focus everything all at once and that includes calories. I need to make choices that build me up to be stronger. And so, I do.

"You alright?" Chase asks eyeing before pulling out his cellphone. I look up at him and meet his eyes. I am now.

"Yes. I'm good." I reply reassuring him.
