"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Music class was going great. I mean how could it not as Eli was teaching it. It was a chance to work on music which I loved and it wasn't like I wasn't always doing that anyway. We were going to do covers of songs, write our own, and work in group projects which I was hesitant on. But overall music was music.
"I don't play any instrument but I like writing songs. I don't think that's enough to get me through the class." Nash whispered to me as we watched a sophomore girl as Eli a question about violin solos.
"That's more than enough. You will be just fine Nash. I promise. Eli is chill." I reply taking out my songbook from my bag and jotting down some lyrics for later. I finally have the hook for my song.
"Yeah, I'm getting the impression he is cooler than he usually lets on. How do you know him anyway? What was that all about? I didn't know he cursed!" Nash finished out in a rush of breath. I looked his way and patted his arm comfortingly sincerely worried for him.
