Amara's P.O.V
I woke up to see that I was alone in my bed. I sat up to see my door closed. Last I remember was watching Narnia with Brennan. Looking around at my room, I figured that Brennan brought me back in my room.
Music softly played as I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I could smell the bacon as soon as I reached to the lower level. I walked over to see Brennan cooking. He looked over at me.
"Morning," He said with a smile.
"Morning," I said.
"I'm making pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon," Brennan told me.
"I'd assume you would have had a cook," I joked.
"I like to cook," Brennan shrugged.
"Really?" I asked.
"Took a cooking class once back in my teen years and I actually enjoyed it," Brennan told me.
"Are you friends with Gordon Ramsey," I joked.
"Yes I am," Brennan smirked over at me.
"Alright. You got me there," I tell him.
"How are you feeling?" Brennan asked me. I remembered of what happened last night.
"I'm still hurt to be honest," I told him.
"Well why don't we have a day out? Help you forget about him," Brennan told me.
"Really?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Let's go out, go shopping for jewelry that'll go along with your prom dress. Whatever you want," Brennan said.
"Really?" I asked Brennan.
"Yeah."
"Well I'd like to go to Anahiem. There's this little craft fair I want to go to," I tell him.
"Then let's go to it," Brennan tells me.
"Okay," I said happily.
After eating breakfast and getting ready, we got into one of Brennan's car.
"So why exactly do you want to go to this craft fair?" Brennan asked me.
"Well I'd like to support the people who do these stuff. It's so beautiful and they need more recognized," I tell him.
"Alright."
When we got to the fair, there were a lot of people looking around. Brennan and I started to walk around to look at the vendors.
"Tell you what. Pick anything you want and I'll buy it for you?" Brennan tells me.
"Why are you okay with spending all your money on me?" I asked.
"You're my future wife. Why should I not spend money on you?" Brennan asked me.
"Cause you could spend your money on other things like foundations that help with climate change or poverty problems," I tell him.
"Amara. I donate to those charities once a month. You don't think I want a good future for the planet and place I live in?" Brennan asked me.
"No. Cause I just assume millionaires and billionaires are just greedy," I tell him.
"Well luckily, I'm not like every millionaire or billionaire," Brennan tells me.
"Sure," I say in a joking way. Brennan smiled a little at me before we continued to walk off.
At the end of the fair, Brennan bought me some pins and iron on patches, a cute tote bag, and some cute art designs. We were now sitting in a restaurant in Downtown Disney for lunch.
"How are you feeling?" Brennan asked me.
"I'm honestly feeling better," I tell him.
"That's good," Brennan tells me.
"I know Chris would've love to help me get through my break up. I know she would have bought me ice cream and pizza while we watch movies in my room," I tell him.
"She's a good friend," Brennan tells me.
"She is," I smiled.
"How long have you and Chris been friends?" Brennan asked me.
"For as long as I could remember," I tell him.
"Oh, we are suppose to have a family dinner with both sides again sometime before the wedding," Brennan warns me.
"Great," I said rolling my eyes.
"Trust me one this. I don't want to go either. But we have to," Brennan said. I nodded at him. The waitress came over with our food making me smile at her.
"Here's your food. Hope you enjoy," She said before putting the food down.
"Thank you," I tell her.
"No problem."
When our waitress left, I looked over to see someone with a camera. I noticed they were taking pictures over our way making me confused.
"Brennan, someone's taking a picture of us," I tell him.
"What?" Brennan asked me as he looked over. The man quickly walked away making me nervous.
"I kinda want to leave now," I tell him. I don't care if that's their job. The paparazzi have made me paranoid since they watch celebrities or influencers' every move.
"Alright. I'll ask for the check and we can take the food to go," Brennan tells me. I nodded before slouching down on my seat a bit more.
