Chapter 43 (Finale) : The Sweetest Goodbye

[Kyuhyun POV]

“I’m sorry Mr. Cho, but Ms. Lei is in comatouse state right now.”

After I heard those words, my knees became weak and I almost fall into the ground. The members came beside me and help me get up as heather and king Luke and Queen claire approached the doctor.

“What do you mean doctor? Could you explain it to us?” King Luke worriedly asked.

“You highness, Ms. Lei condition becomes worst after she gave birth to the twins. Her blood pressure continued to drop. We are trying our best right now to look for more possible ways to save her. But right now, we all need to pray that she will still wake up.” The doctor said as I felt the coldness in me.

“Gwenchana Kyuhyun?” Leeteuk hyung asked.

I can’t speak any word. It seems like my mouth was totally shut even thought my heart almost exploded on what happened. How I wish that all of this is not true, but I need to be strong and get through this, for the sake of my children and for Lei.

“She will be fine Kyuhyun, Have faith, they are all doing their best to save her.” King Luke said as he patted my shoulder.

“Lei is a strong woman, kyuhyun. She will wake up for you and for your children.” Queen Claire smilingly said.

From what they said to me, it make me realized that aside from me, they are the most hurting about this. They are trying to be strong for Lei. And I think I need to do that also, even though it will be hard.

Few days had passed and there is still no improvement on Lei’s condition. I talked to my manager to cancel temporarily all of my schedules; it was a good thing that the fans didn’t notice it as they said in the press conference during the announcement of the birth of my twins.

One day, I was holding on Lei hands when I felt suddenly it moved. I look up only to see that she is slowly opening her eyes. I immediately called the doctor and I went back to her and said.

“How are you feeling right now jagiya?”

“A…little..tired….what… happened…. Where are… the..babies?” she stuttering said, she is still having a hard time to talk since the fractured bones in her ribs are not fully healed yet.

“You knew they are twins?” I smilingly asked.

“Ne!... i… want…it…to…be…surprise…..” she suttering said as she is smiling to me. Right at this very moment I felt that my whole life is now complete. How I wish, this thing will not end, but I know that will be just a wishful thinking.

Weeks had passed, Lei has been discharge to the hospital, it was so sad to know that her body is slowly giving up. Every night she will vomit blood as her skin continues to become pale and she’s thinner than before. She even can hardly carry our babies so, I had to assist her in everytime she would carry them. It was so pitiful, but we have to continue living like this.

Lei and I spend the time that we had together with out twins; we name them, Cho Jin Ki or Margarette Cho and Cho Jun Ki or Marvel Cho. They became our source of strength, most especially to Lei. Jin ki has a eyes of her mother while Jun Ki had my smile.

This morning, I woke up by the sunlight coming from our window, I glanced at our twins who is sleeping soundly in their crib and I glanced to my left to saw Lei, I touched her and her whole body is so cold, her face is whiter than ever, then I started to worried, I did shake her up and still no response, I was about to carry her bridal style when I her hands moved.
