First Time Maze Runner [Newt Love Story]

Everyone's POV

It was dark, nobody could see anything, all they remembered was they escaped the Maze.

But where were they now?

Did they actually not make it out?

All these were thoughts going through everyones minds.

They were all in the dark for about 25 minutes until a bright light came on.

Everyone flinched and covered their eyes, being in the dark a long time affected their eyes.

They all looked around and saw eachother, at the time they didn't realize they were all in the same room.

Newt saw Maddie and instantly ran over and pulled her into his embrace. Hugging her tightly and giving her kisses all over her face.

Minho found Thomas and nearly hugged him to death. Saying how happy he was to see he was okay.

Everything seemed fine until a booming voice took over.

"Congratulations for passing the first trial." The voice over the speaker spoke.

"You are now in the second part of the trial." The voice spoke again, it was a lady speaking.

She sounded as if she was head command of what she was doing, her voice seemed very formal and controled.

"Your first goal is to do exactly what I say and for you to make it out of here." The lady spoke again.

"How do we know you're telling us the truth and not trying to kill us?" Minho shouted, frustration starting to roam through his body.

There was a long dead silent pause.

"If you do not follow my exact orders you will get sliced." The lady over the speaker spoke again, her voice sounded even more cold than it was before.

"Now do as I say and stay here in this room, wait ti'll I come back on the speaker and give you orders." She spoke again and then it went quiet over the innercom.

"We need to get out of here." Minho growled, pacing back and forth.

"But what if we get sliced?" Chuck spoke up, the look of fear planted all over his face.

"They're probably joking." Minho snorted, shaking his head as if he was right.

Maddie looked at Newt and then at Thomas, seeing what expressions laid on their faces.

"We need to get out, who knows what they can do to us." Maddie spoke up, it was true, the creators can be misleading.

"Alright follow me were gonna find a way out of here one way or another." Minho said as he stood up.

They started to walk down a long narrow hallway, then all of a sudden the lady came back, her voice cold as ice.

"I told you not to leave, turn back now or you'll be sliced." She spoke, you could tell she was full of rage.

"Did you guys hear that?" Newt spoke up, his voice somewhat loud but shakey.

"Yeah what was that?" Minho questioned, stopping to turn around to look behind himself.

The next thing everyone heard was disturbing, a sound nobody ever wanted to hear.

A loud terrifying sound came flying out from know where, but then you heard a boy scream bloody murder.

Something had attacked his face, except his head was cut off his body, as if something had sliced it off.

"New plan, RUN!" Minho shouted, everyone nodded frantically and began to sprint down the hallway.

Although they felt bad for leaving the boy behind, they had no choice, this was life and death litterally on the line.

Everyone ran down the hall, the noises getting louder and the booming voice yelling and scolding them.

They continued to run down the hall that seemed to be a never ending hallway until they all ran into eachother.

They all made an 'oof' noise as they cramed into eachothers bodies.

"What the hell!" Thomas exclaimed, squirming around.

"Were stuck!" Chuck cried out, fear in his voice.

"We need to get out before we all die!" Thomas cried, smacking the walls around them.

"Wait you guys, I can see light!" Maddie shouted, pointing towards the ceiling.

Sure enough out of the cracks of the ceiling there was a light, this was the doorway out.

They all pushed on it ti'll it broke open, the light so bright it burned.

The heat immediately swept through the place, everyone crawled out carefully, trying to cover their bare skin from the pounding sun.

The heat was unbareable and so was the burning from the suns rays.

Once everyone was out, everyone was sheilding their eyes, they all had to get their eyes adjusted to the bright sun above.

Once their vision cleared, they saw mountains of sand, along with run down buildings that once was a city. Some tall buildings were still standing but they were covered in heaps of sand.

They all looked at eachother, unsure of what this all was and what they had to do.

More thinking, why are they even there?

Newt took Maddies hand in his and Thomas took Minhos. The rest just stood there, gazing at this run down sanded place.
