First Time Maze Runner [Newt Love Story]

*** FLASHBACK ***

"You guys ready to do this?" Aris questioned nervously, playing with his thumbs.

"We have to, it might be the way out of here, or at least somewhere along those lines." Minho looked at Aris, shrugging his shoulders in a somewhat serious manner.

"But what if we don't wake up?" Aris questioned again, this time looking at everyone wide-eyed.

"Believe me they'll try to wake us up." Maddie nodded, leaning against Newt who gave a nod also.

"They need us, but if were not alive they can't get what they so badly need." Newt grinned a bit, holding Maddie close to him.

"I really hope this works." Thomas groaned and looked at Minho who grinned cheekily.

"It will, this is going to work." Minho spoke postitively, nodding and making hand motions.

"How are we going to you know... Die?.." Aris spoke nervously, looking at Maddie and Newt.

"We need to get a sleeping drug from one of their testing rooms, they used that on us that kept us out for a while." Newt explained, moving his hands around in motions also.

"Okay so we know that, but how are we going to get it if were not allowed to leave the room, and that they think they still have control over us." Aris questioned, looking at Minho this time for an answer.

"Good question, and I have an answer for you." Minho grinned cheekily and laughed slightly.

"They patrol this area only during the afternoon, so we have to do it at night fall, and that also works because if we take the drug at night it'll look like we died over night." Minho smirked and nodded, proud of his explination.

"I guess that would work.. It makes somewhat sense." Aris shrugged his shoulders, his hand resting on his chin as he thought about it.

"That's the entire plan?" Thomas questioned, finally speaking up.

"Well for now yes, we need that drug and then we'll figure it out from there." Minho looked at Thomas, unsure of what he was thinking.

"So we take the drug, bring it back here, all take it, lay down in bed and practically die, WICKED comes in to see us and sees were dead, they flip and try to save us and we get into their heads." Thomas spoke, taking a deep breath from talking so much.

"Yes exactly." Newt nodded, as Maddie gave a slight nod.

"Okay, so after they see were dead, how do we wake back up?" Thomas spoke, thinking he made a conflict in their idea.

"We do the same thing like last time." Maddie spoke up, acting as if it was common sense.

"What do you mean?" Aris looked at her, unsure if he knew what she was talking about.

"We have to realize it isn't real and scream to wake ourselves up." Maddie explained and grabbed Newt's hand.

"Then we will be in WICKED's head as were dead which we aren't." Maddie smiled and nodded.

"I guess that will also work." Aris grumbled, looking at the floor.

They all took a deep breath as night began to over come the area.

The moonlight lit their room, they all looked at eachother and nodded.

It was time.

Maddie and Newt went out first, quietly going down the hall and entering a room.

Then out went Minho, Thomas and Aris, going down the hall also and entering another room.

"It should be somewhere in here." Minho whispered, looking around the cabinets.

"I think I found something." Thomas whispered, pulling a bottle out labeled, 'Knock Out.'

Minho took it and looked it over nodding.

"This is it, c'mon lets go tell Maddie and Newt." Aris looked at them both and opened the door and walked down to the area they were in.

They all walked into the room and got their attention and went back to their dorm room.

They all sat on the floor, looking at the bottle in front of them all.

"You ready to do this?" Minho spoke up, looking at the bottle then at everyone.

"I'm done being their test subjects." Thomas grumbled and looked at Minho.

"If we don't make it back or I don't make it back, just know I love you guys so much." Maddie smiled and held Newt's hand.

Minho opened up the bottle and gave each one of them a pill.

They all walked to their bunk, getting comfrontable and took the pill, then shutting their eyes and going to sleep.

This better work.

*** REALITY ***

WICKED didn't understand, they were doing their usual check and when they checked on Group A they saw they were all not breathing.

They quickly took them into the lab room and hooked them up to machines, trying to get them to breathe.

They couldn't lose Group A, they were important, they needed them for tests.

They did all they could to try to get them to breathe, to move, to wake up, to do anything to show life.

But nothing worked, and now everything was ruined.

WICKED lost their test subjects, and they didn't know what to do, their life depended on them.

They kept them in the lab room and left, going to have a meeting.

They needed a new idea, and fast.
