Siddiq and I snapped to attention when we heard a loud bang. We exchanged a glance before running towards it.

We eventually entered a huge room with a big staircase. Everyone was working on getting a gigantic wagon down the stairs without cracking the glass floor at the bottom.

"Rick," I shouted. "What can we do?"

"Siddiq, help Carol!" he shouted. "Bree, don't worry about it!"

Finally, I snapped. "Screw that!" I yelled. I picked up Enid's rope, which was attached to Maggie, and started helping her.

"So far, so good," Rick said quietly. He stepped carefully onto the glass floor. "Alright, go. Slow and careful."

Enid and I held the rope firmly and kept a keen eye on Maggie, both wincing as we heard the soft cracking of the floor. Once the wagon was safely off the stairs, it was slowly pulled to safety. We watched as all of the other supplies were moved off the stairs, the glass floor never staying silent.

Lastly, I watched as Carol and Ezekiel moved a plow carefully across the floor.

Suddenly, the cracking became louder and deeper.

"You've got to go!" Rick shouted. Carol immediately jumped to safety, but Ezekiel wasn't as lucky.

"Save the plow!" he yelled and tossed it away before the glass shattered from under him and he fell through, barely being saved by his rope that Jadis was holding. His shouts and the growls of walkers filled the room.

"Ezekiel!" I shouted, everyone running to his rope. "Hold on!"

Daryl and Carol ran to the hole, Daryl shooting all of the walkers he could. We pulled the rope as hard as we could, but we knew that the sharp glass rubbing against it would soon snap it.

Finally, Ezekiel was able to pull himself up, all of us falling from the counterforce

I watched in relief as Carol hugged and kissed Ezekiel tightly.

"Bree," Rick said as we all got up. "Are you alright?"

I shot him an incredulous look. "Ezekiel was almost torn to shreds and you're asking me if I'm alright?"

Packing up all of the supplies was a bit difficult in the blaring heat, but we finally managed to get it done and soon enough, we were on our way home.

I turned as I felt Enid nudge my arm.

"What's up with you and Rick?" she asked. "He's treating you like a kid. I thought you guys were partners."

Though I understood his intentions deep down, I sighed and shrugged. "Yeah, so did I."

A few miles down Route B, I was fighting sleep as heard Alden, Marco, and Ken talk about Ken's dad behind us. I wasn't exactly sure how far along I was, I would find that out when Siddiq checked me, but I was slowly moving out of the morning sickness so that was all I cared about.

I tensed as I felt Maggie put her hand on my leg. Even though I wasn't thrilled that she told Siddiq without asking me, I fully knew that all she wanted to do was protect me and the baby, especially now that Hershel Jr. was here.

Sighing, I relaxed and slowly let my head rest on her shoulder.

Suddenly, we pulled to a stop as Daryl rode up to us with Rosita in tow.

I sat up straight, knowing something was wrong.

We listened to Rosita as we approached the Route A bridge, which had collapsed.
