New Years Pain

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

What can I say Christmas was amazing, Zak's family was so surprised and happy with the news of the new baby Bagans on the way. After Christmas was new years, I used to love the beginning of a new year but ever since my nan passed away a couple of years ago it doesn't feel the same anymore.

Zak knew I was going through a tough time and he has been so supportive of me. New years day was the worst day for me and I couldn't even face anything let alone function properly, I felt like running away from my pain.

Zak's point of view

Seeing Catherine (y/n) like this makes me feel hopeless, I want to take her pain away. As Catherine (y/n) needs family time I decided to ask my family to come round, but as they were all busy they couldn't make it, so I asked all the guys to come over.

Catherine (y/n) needs family time and the guys are family to us. I pulled my phone out and made a group chat with the guys.

Zak: "Hey guys code red... Catherine (y/n) needs you"

Billy: "is she OK bro?"

Zak: "not really Billy, she needs family time"

Jay: "Me, Morgan and Jayden are on our way"

Zak: "cheers Jay"

Aaron: "we're on our way too"

Zak: "😊"

Billy: "I'm on my way"

Zak: "thanks guys, see you all soon"

After I sent my last text I went to check on Catherine (y/n). As I walked to our bedroom and peaked through the door I saw her sitting on the bed with tears streaming down her face. My heart was breaking seeing her in pain like this.

Zak: "baby?"

When she looked up at me I began to hurt even more. I walked over to her and I wrapped my arms around her to try and comfort her the best I can.

Zak: "baby, come and spend time with me and Cody"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm sorry baby... I just want to be left alone"

My heart was breaking

Zak: "no baby, you shouldn't be on your own....Not today, not any day when you're upset... Come on"

I gently held her hand and lead her to the living room and held her in my arms. Even Cody knew his mommy wasn't OK today as he was calling for her.

Cody: "mama"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm OK Cody"

I went over to Cody, picked him up and brought him over to cuddle Catherine (y/n), seeing Cody snuggle into her made me feel so proud of him as he knows when she's feeling down. What surprised me was even Gracie came over too. Now this is what I call a family moment Being together in time of need, hopefully the guys won't be much longer for them to help cheer Catherine (y/n) up.

A couple of minutes later and all of the guys and girls came inside. One by one the guys and girls all gave Catherine (y/n) hugs to cheer her up. It was slowly working but not quick enough. Whilst Morgan and Victoria was busy with Cody and Jayden, I was chatting to Billy and Jay whilst Aaron gave Catherine (y/n) cuddles.

Most guys would flip out if they saw their girl being intimate with another man but I totally trust the guys, they wouldn't even do anything like that they see Catherine (y/n) as a sister. Just as I see them all as my brothers, we're all family.

Billy: "How is she holding up bro?"

Zak: "I think she's getting there, I can tell she's putting on a brave face"
