Catherine's (y/n) point of view

What can I say those last 3 weeks was amazing, visiting all of the places the guys have investigated and even camping trips, I won't ever forget the trip. In a little way I kinda didn't want to come home but I really missed Cody and Sophia like crazy so I'm glad we did come home and back to reality.

For the last few days all me and Zak has done is spent alot of time together and alot of time with Cody and Sophia. But as good times have to end at some point it was time for Zak and the guys to go and do a investigation, unfortunately I couldn't go with them this time but I'm more than happy to stay home with my little family.

Thankfully the guys wasn't going to far and they're staying local as they was investigating Aaron's old house which his father now lives in. There has been alot of disturbing activity which has made people not want to visit Don. Even Zak hasn't been in that house for a good few years.

I just hope all of them will be safe, Don included.

Zak's point of view

The time has come for me and the guys to go on a investigation, I have to admit the trip away did us good and we all had some much needed time to relax and recharge our batteries and gain energy.

Thankfully our investigation isn't too far away, in fact we're staying local. We're investigating Aaron's old house which his father now lives in. It's going to be so weird going back there, I haven't been there myself in such a long time. But I can never forget the energy that place has, it certainly does have some sort of spirits in it.

I am glad that we're staying local but I kind of wish Catherine (y/n) could be with us for this investigation. It's going to seem strange not having her with us, she's been with us for every investigation ever since just before we got married.

As me and the guys ain't starting the interviews til later this afternoon, I spent alot of time with Catherine (y/n) and the kids. As the kids have just gone for their usual afternoon nap me and Catherine (y/n) both spent time together, all we did was sat on the couch and watched a little bit TV whilst I held her in my arms.

Zak: "I wish you can come with us on this investigation baby, its going to feel strange not having you there with us"

Catherine (y/n): "I know baby I wish I was coming too, but on the plus side at least you're staying local so after the interviews you can come straight back home"

That is a big plus, and I'm glad I can just come straight back home.

Zak: "I'm happy with that baby, but one thing for sure you're definitely coming with me on our next investigation. That one isn't quite local"

Catherine (y/n) didn't have to say anything but I knew she was happy with that, as she shown me her biggest smile. I'm not going to lie I'm nervous about our next investigation, we're heading to a town called Antelope in Calfornia to help a family as one of the members is dealing with a dark attachment.

I've told Catherine (y/n) about the next investigation and she's still happy to come, even though I can tell she's still feels scared when it comes to attachments. But even though she's scared I'm so proud of her as she wants to come with us to our next location.

I keep reassuring her everything will be OK and I'll keep her safe. But when it's tough locations, it's more like she comes with us to keep us safe.

After a while it's time for me to head off to Aaron's dad's place to start our interviews. But on the way I had to pick up Billy.

As we arrived at Don's and got out of the car Aaron came out of his dad's house.

As me and Aaron greeted each other we did our usual brother greeting fist bump

Zak: "this feels weird dude"

Aaron: "I know I was just thinking the same"

We talked a bit more and had a good laugh before Aaron started explaining more about what's been going on with his dad.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

It does feel weird Zak not being here after all the time we've spent together these last few weeks, but I'm glad he's still local. During the whole afternoon and early evening I've sorted Cody and Sophia out with dinner, then got them into bed.

As the kids was in bed I gave Gracie some fuss and played with her in the garden before we both went back inside. As I was relaxing on the couch with Gracie, the atmosphere changed in the house... Even Gracie can feel the sudden shift.

Catherine (y/n): "what is it Grace?"

She slowly got off the couch and seemed to look around the room as if she's looking at what's causing this energy. I got up and went to see what she's looking at.

Catherine (y/n): "what is it girl?"

I petted her to reassure her everything's ok, then she started growling loud.

OK now I'm freaking out... Then as quick as it came it disappeared, both me and Gracie was looking around for this spirit. I went into the next room then saw something catching my eye by the back door, I looked and saw a tall dark figure with glowing red eyes looking at me.

Not a minute to soon Gracie was by my side growling and even barking at the spirit. I couldn't take my eyes off of it, but yet I was panicking bad.

Catherine (y/n): "get away from me... Leave me alone"

It just stayed there, and at this point I was getting angry.

Catherine (y/n): "GET THE FUCK AWAY!"

Then all of a sudden the spirit grew bigger before it then charged for me, shattering the glass door in the process. I braced myself for the attack and closed my eyes tight..... But nothing happened. I opened my eyes and looked around, apart from the door being shattered nothing seems different and I felt the same. Nothing has changed....but yet I was shaking with fear.

Catherine (y/n): "oh my god!"

I quickly went back into the other room and grabbed my phone to call Zak. But as I was just about to dial his number I heard his car pulling onto the drive, and then heard Zak getting out of the car and heading to the front door.

I quickly walked into the hallway to greet him.

Zak: "Hey baby"

I couldn't say anything, I just wrapped my arms around Zak tight before burying myself into him.

Zak: "baby what's wrong?"

Again I couldn't say anything, Zak carefully pulled me off of him and looked at me in my eyes which is now filling up with tears.

Zak: "Catherine (y/n), what's wrong... Are Cody and Sophia OK?"

Catherine (y/n): "yeah they're OK...."

Zak: "then what's wrong baby? You're all panicky and shaking"

I can feel myself breaking down, I really wanted to tell Zak but I was scared of what he would say. Instead I held his hand and we walked into the other room so I can show him.

Zak's point of view

Seeing Catherine (y/n) like this worried me, she's physically shaking. As she held my hand and lead me into the other room, I can tell she was scared to tell me what just happened.... Then I saw it the back door all shattered.

Zak: "baby... What happened?"

After I asked her what happened I looked at her and she shook her head.

Catherine (y/n): "you're gonna think I'm crazy"

Zak: "baby, no I won't. I'm just worried about you"

Catherine (y/n): "please don't be mad at me and try and stay calm... I promise you I was just about to call you"

Zak: "I won't baby I promise... Please tell me"

Catherine (y/n) took a deep breath before she started telling me what she saw and what happened.....
