Finding Out The Truth Part 2

Zak's point of view

I didn't want to let go of Catherine (y/n) but we need to go and talk to Bishop Bryan and sister Mary.

Bishop Bryan: "Catherine (y/n), sorry to disturb your time with Zak but me and sister Mary would really like to talk to you and Zak together, if that's OK"

Catherine (y/n): "yeah that's OK with me"

I held Catherine's (y/n) hand and laced it with my hand, then we walked into the other sitting room to talk with Bishop Brian and sister Mary. As Catherine (y/n) sat down on the couch I wrapped my arm around her shoulders.

Bishop Bryan: "Catherine (y/n), we would like to tell you about the attachment that was attached to Zak and how well he went through our cleansing and exocism sessions"

I can tell Catherine (y/n) was feeling nervous and apprehensive about hearing what happened to me.

Catherine (y/n): "do I have to really hear this?, I'm not good about this kind of stuff when it comes to possessions and oppressions"

Zak: "please baby, you need to hear this and what I have been through. Then you'll know why I couldn't come home"

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

Do I really have to listen to this and what Zak went through. I started to have really bad anxiety, and I blanked out my surroundings. Everything came back into focus when Zak reached over and held my hand in his hand.

Zak: "baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm sorry, I really can't hear this"

Sister Mary: "sweetie you have to understand what Zak has been through and why he couldn't come home to you...It was very serious."

I just sat there and thought for a minute, then I nodded slightly to let them know I'm ready to listen. Then bishop Bryan started telling me everything. About half way through, I had to stand up and I began to slowly pace around the room.

Bishop Bryan: "The spirit in Zak was slowly but surely killing him that's how severe it was, but not only that the spirit was known to harm women and children, that came near it or the person it attached itself to"

My anxiety was through the roof, and I started to feel emotional. I really don't think I can hear anymore, I feel so overwhelmed.

Sister Mary: "it was touch and go for a few days but then we started making progress and finally we got Zak fully back and no more attachments"

Zak: "even some of the attachments I had in me from years ago has gone"

I felt like I'm having a out of body experience, I'm in the room and I can hear everything but I don't know what to say or how to feel.

Zak's point of view

Why hasn't Catherine (y/n) said anything, I know she's listening and everything but it looks like she's not fully in there. I walked over to her and tried to bring her back.

Zak: "baby? Are you OK?"

Then she looked at me, I have to admit I don't like the way she's looking at me. It's making me feel uncomfortable, the way she's staring at me is scaring me.

Zak: "Catherine (y/n) STOP!"

Bishop Bryan: "Catherine (y/n) can you hear me?"

Then as if the thing that was controlling her stopped, she snapped out of the hold and she returned to her normal self.

Catherine (y/n): "what?"

Bishop Bryan: "can you hear me?"

Catherine (y/n): "I can hear you all loud and clear"

I placed my hand on the side of her face and I stroked Catherine's (y/n) cheek.

Zak: "what happened baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "what do you mean, nothing happened I was listening to you all talking"

Zak: "but you blanked out and you just stared at me, the way you was looking at me made me feel uncomfortable"

Catherine (y/n): "nothing happened, I'm fine"

I looked over at Bishop Bryan and sister Mary and I knew they was thinking the same thing as I am.

Bishop Bryan: "Catherine (y/n), I know you haven't got a attachment on you but can I bless you just in case"

I looked over at Catherine (y/n) and she looked at me before she nodded slightly.

Catherine (y/n): "OK"

After Bishop Bryan and sister Mary blessed Catherine (y/n) to be on the safe side, they left us and I finally had the chance to spend quality time with my girl. I walked over to Catherine (y/n) and held her tight in my arms.

Zak: "how you feeling baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "really happy I finally have you home".

Zak: "I'm so glad I'm home with you baby. Do you have any questions about what happened to me?"

Catherine (y/n): "Zak... Please, I don't like talking about that, it scared me the first time you was possessed and it scares me knowing that you could have another one. And you did have another one, and it kills me knowing I couldn't be there to help you"

Zak: "baby, I can't promise you that it won't happen again, but I have kept to my promises that I'll always protect you... Protect Cody and Sophia and keep them safe. I'll always keep that promise"

Catherine (y/n): "I know you'll always keep me and our kids safe and I'm always glad that you do, but I don't know if I can handle the thought of you getting possessed again. I'll end up going crazy with the thought."

Zak: "you won't baby, you might not feel this way but you're getting stronger and you're controlling your emotions better".

Catherine (y/n) shooked her head saying no.

Catherine (y/n): "no I'm not, I'm not emotionally strong... I'm weak.. I'll never have that strength like you do"

Catherine looked down at her engagement ring and slowly started taking it off. No... This can't be happening.. Please..dont let this happen.

Zak: "baby please don't take it off, I love you"

Catherine (y/n): "I love you more Zak, but I'm not the right girl for you. I never have been and I never will be"

Catherine (y/n) handed me back her ring and then got up and started to leave. I quickly followed behind her and I gently grabbed her wrist to stop her.

Zak: "Catherine (y/n) please don't leave me.. I can't live without you, I can't live without Cody and Sophia in my life"

Catherine (y/n): "you managed pretty well before you met me"

Zak: "but I still knew you before we met, I still had you in my life before I met you and fell in love with you. Please don't leave me baby, you promised me that no matter what has happened we can get through this together"

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

Zak: ".... Please don't leave me baby, you promised me that no matter what has happened we can get through this together"

I feel terrible, I did promise Zak we'll get through this 'Together' but right now I'm close to walking away from all of this, all that we have built together. I turned to face the door again and I opened it. But before I took a step forward I looked back at Zak and saw him about to break down.

Zak: "please.... Please don't leave me baby"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm sorry"

I reluctantly turned around and I walked through the door.
