Getting Back To Normal

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

It's been a couple of weeks since I left Zak, and I'm so thankful that Jay and Morgan have offered for me and Cody to stay at theirs for a while. I decided I didn't want to leave Las Vegas for now so I'm staying around until I decide what I really want to do.

I've been keeping busy and hanging out with the girls which again I'm thankful for, especially today. Today was supposed to be mine and Zak's wedding day.

I haven't really spoken to Zak since I texted him last, but I have seen him when he's had Cody for the day or when I've gone to the hospital to see Sophia. I really want to talk to him and I know he really wants to talk to me. However when we do see each other we have those awkward silence moments, but your emotions says how you really feel.

Through it all, the rest of the guys and Zak's family have been here for me and support me. But I know everyone wants me and Zak to sort things out between us and for us to get back together..... Maybe one day.

Thankfully today Zak's sister Meredith is having Cody, and Zak's mom and step dad are being close to Sophia whilst Morgan and Victoria are taking me out for the day.

Morgan: "you ready to go sis?"

Catherine (y/n): "yeah, let's go"

So we was on our way out for the day. As Morgan was driving and Victoria was riding shot gun, I decided to sit in the back. We was all having fun talking, gossiping and just having a good laugh and joke about things. But then the girls started talking about Jay and Aaron, They don't need to say anything to me but I knew the girls felt sorry for me whilst they was talking about their guys.

I just sat in silence and looked out of the window. As I was looking at the views of Las Vegas, I received a text from Zak.

Zak: "Hey beautiful, thinking about you today ❤️ xxx if you're not busy later come round to mine. I want to have a talk with you xxxxx ❤️"

OK I have to admit me and Zak has been texting each other back and forth these last couple of days. Even though we aren't together we still have our moments where he still texts me as if we are together.

I don't mind that at all that Zak texts me as if we're still together as I'm still crazy about him and no matter what happens between us I'll always love him.

Catherine (y/n): "thinking about you today too baby ❤️ xxxxx I don't think I've got anything planned later, what time do you want me to come round? Xxxxx ❤️"

Zak: "after you've finished with the girls xxxxxxxx ❤️"

I'm not gonna lie I'm looking forward to seeing Zak and a little smile appeared on my face whilst I was thinking of him and thinking about seeing him later.

Catherine (y/n): "OK 😊 xxxx ❤️ xxxxxx"

Zak: "really? Xxxxxxxx ❤️❤️"

Catherine (y/n): "really ❤️❤️ xxxxxxx"

Zak: "😁😁 I can't wait to see you beautiful ❤️❤️ xxxxxxxx"

Catherine (y/n): "😊❤️❤️❤️ xxxxxxxx"

I sent the text to Zak and smiled more again.

Morgan: "what you smiling at sis?"

Catherine (y/n): "nothing"

Victoria: "come on tell us... The last time you smiled like that was when you was with Zak"

I wanted to tell the girls, but as there could be a chance of me and Zak getting back together but taking things slow, I don't want to rush into things or jinx it.

Catherine (y/n): "OK I'll tell you but please don't say anything to anyone"

Morgan: "we promise"

Victoria: "yeah we promise, please tell us"

Catherine (y/n): "Zak just texted me asking if I'm able to go over to his later to talk"

Morgan: "did he text you, like he always used to.. You know cute emojis, love heart and kisses?"

I blushed slightly

Victoria: "aww, are you and Zak gonna give it another go with you two?"

Catherine (y/n): "I hope so, we have been through alot together and we do have a little family together. But I don't want to rush into things again too fast"

Morgan: "you'll both get through this sis and you'll be together again and happy together. I just know you will"

Catherine (y/n): "I hope you're right sis"

Me and the girls all smiled at each other and then we was soon making the start of our day out together.

Zak's point of view

This is the happiest I've been since that night my world torn into two... I'm seeing my girl later and I can't wait. Me and Catherine (y/n) have been talking backwards and forwards alot these last couple of days and texting like we have been when we was together.

I admit these last couple of weeks have been my living nightmare, the house has been too quiet and lonely without Catherine (y/n) and Cody around, I've been like a hermit, not going out anywhere, not sleeping and not even eating and don't get me started on the thoughts going through my mind.

The only thing that has been keeping me sane was knowing I'd see Catherine (y/n) and the kids when it was my days to have Cody or when I went to the hospital to see Sophia, but even just seeing them brought back the harsh reality that they don't live with me at the moment. Everytime when I see Catherine (y/n) all I've wanted to do was hold her in my arms and kiss her.

I know I'll have those same feelings later when I see her, but I know she wants to take things slow and that's what I want to talk to her about later.

Throughout the day I've texted Catherine (y/n) and she's texted me, as I was about to text her again I had a phone call from my mom.

Zak: "Hey mom is everything OK?"

Nancy: "hi son, yes everything is OK and Sophia is doing beautifully"

Zak: "I'm glad to hear, what's up?"

Nancy: "I want to talk to you about Catherine (y/n)"

Zak: "OK"

Nancy: "please sort whatever has happened between the two of you son. You've both got a beautiful little family together and you two was so happy together.. What happened son?"

Zak: "don't worry mom, I don't really want to talk about what happened. But I will say this Catherine (y/n) is Coming over mine later and we're gonna talk"

Nancy: "that's great son, are you both getting back together there and then?"

Zak: "I don't know mom, I don't want to rush things but I'm going to show a and tell Catherine (y/n) I'm willing to try again, even if we do live separately for a while"

Nancy: "I hope you'll both sort something out that's best for the both of you, you two are such a wonderful couple"

Zak: "thanks mom, I'll let you know what happens tomorrow"

Nancy: "OK son, good luck and speak to you tomorrow"

Zak: "love you mom... Oh and give Sophia a kiss from me please"

Nancy: "love you too son and of course I will"

Zak: "thanks mom, bye"

I ended the call with my mom and I started tidying the house up, after I finished everything I went to take a shower to freshen myself up for when my girl arrives.
