Catherine's (y/n) point of view

Zak: "but baby I am doing it for you..."

I can't believe what I'm hearing, Zak is thinking of cutting Ghost Adventures down because of me.

Catherine (y/n): "Zak please don't quit Ghost Adventures for me. I know you want to keep me, the kids and everyone else safe but...."

Zak: "Catherine (y/n) you died in my arms because of a dark entity that some how attached to one of us, I'm not risking that again!"

I can tell Zak was getting a little bit angry, and can see him breaking down as he put his head into his hands.

I reached my hand over and gently held his hand in mine.

Zak: "what does it have to take for you to understand why I'm feeling like this"

I was stunned by what Zak just said, I felt angry but I'm more shocked than anything. I do understand...

Catherine (y/n): "Zak I do understand, I really do. I just.... You have worked so hard to get to where you are today, and that's because of ghost adventures and the museum. I just don't want you to throw it all away... Because of me"

Zak looked at me with tears in his eyes, before he put his hand on the side of my face and stroked my cheek, brushing away the stray tear that has fallen from one of my eyes.

Zak: "I just don't want to lose you Catherine (y/n)... You, Cody and Sophia are the most important thing in my life and I don't want to lose you again. I don't want to lose any of you again.... You know this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do baby, I just don't need it to become even more harder by losing you"

I can feel my heart breaking, Zak really is making the best decision for us all. He's not fully stopping Ghost Adventures, he's just stopping all of the dark side of it all. As I was thinking and yet again feeling guilty for everything Zak held both of my hands in his and squeezed them.

Zak: "I know you're supporting me baby, but if it wasn't for the situation we've just been through I wouldn't have come to the conclusion how dangerous all this dark side of the investigations really is. I know you always support me baby but please... Please be supportive of this decision of mine"

Catherine (y/n): "of course I'll support you in everything you do baby, I'll always support you"

Zak: "promise?"

Catherine (y/n): "I promise"

Zak wrapped his arms around me and held me tight.

Zak: "I'll call my boss David tomorrow and tell him my plans"

Catherine (y/n): "OK.... I'm sorry baby"

Zak: "baby don't you dare apologise, none of this is your fault"

Catherine (y/n): "but it is my fault"

I was starting to break down but before I did Zak quickly but firmly wrapped his arms around me tight.

Zak's point of view

I hate it when Catherine (y/n) blames herself for something that has happened. Yes something happened to her which has put me into a situation of changing alot of things but she should never blame herself for that. As she was about to break down I wrapped my arms around her tight.

Zak: "please baby, I don't want you to keep blaming yourself for what happened. We both didn't know what was going to happen. OK so please stop blaming yourself"

Catherine (y/n) looked at me and sighed a little before she nodded her head.

I smiled at her before I kissed her again.

Catherine (y/n): "I love you"

Zak: "I love you more baby"

** the next day **

Zak's point of view

The next day rolled by and as Catherine (y/n) was still asleep I called my boss David to discuss everything I have been thinking about...I even told him everything that had happened.

David: "dear God Zak I don't blame you for wanting to calm down on darker investigations... I take it your wife is OK now"

Zak: "yeah she's doing great, she's feeling a bit guilty for everything that's changing but I keep telling her its for everyone's safety"

David: "you're doing the smartest thing Zak, I fully support your decision"

Zak: "thanks David"

David: "you're welcome Zak, just keep you're family safe that's the most important thing. Don't worry about anything else. Speak again soon Zak"

Zak: "thanks again David, speak again soon"

I ended the phone call just as Catherine (y/n) was walking into the room.

Zak: "morning beautiful"

As soon as I called her beautiful she looked at me with one of her amazing smiles on her face.

Catherine (y/n): "morning handsome"

Catherine (y/n) walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me tight.

Zak: "before we get our little kids let's have some breakfast"

Catherine (y/n): "OK"

So with that we both got busy making breakfast. I can't wait to go and get Cody and Sophia, we've both missed them like crazy. I haven't planned much today but once we're back home I do know all we're gonna do is spend some quality family time together, and I can't wait for that.
