Catherine's (y/n) point of view

For the whole day me, Zak and Cody spent time together. I really do love family time together and I can't wait til Sophia can come home then we can truly be a very happy family. After dinner we all just relaxed on the couch and watched a movie, the sight in front of me was so sweet especially as Zak was holding Cody in his arms while we watched the movie.

I can see Cody was starting to get tired, and I knew I best start to think about going back... but I don't want to leave.

During the movie Cody fell asleep in Zak's arms so I stood up and carefully took Cody from Zak and started walking out of the living room but Zak grabbed my arm and stopped me.

Zak: "please don't leave me baby"

I just shook my head no and smiled at Zak

Catherine (y/n): "I'm not going anywhere baby, I'm just going to put Cody in his bed"

The smile on Zak's face says it all, he looks so happy knowing I'm not leaving. After I put Cody into his bed and tucked him in for the night I quickly went into mine and Zak's bedroom and got changed into some comfy pyjamas, then I went back downstairs and joined Zak on the couch.

The whole time I've been here today I've been having a good think about everything and I've finally made my decision.

Catherine (y/n): "baby how much do you want me and Cody to move back home?"

Zak: "more than anything in the world, when you leave to go back to Jay's its too quiet and I feel alone"

My heart ached hearing that Zak feels alone when I'm not around... I hope what I tell him will make him very happy.

Catherine (y/n): "Well you won't have to feel alone again... I'm coming home"

Zak's point of view

Did I really just hear right, is my girl coming home.

Zak: "what did you just say baby?"

Catherine (y/n) smiled at me before she repeated what she just said.

Catherine (y/n): "I'm coming home... Actually me and Cody are coming back home"

My heart was pounding with excitement, I'm so happy my little family is coming home to where they belong. I couldn't contain my excitement, I stood up and helped Catherine (y/n) up then I picked her up and held her in my arms tight as I spung her around.

Zak: "you have no idea how happy I am right now baby.... When did you decide to come home?"

Catherine (y/n): "when I was putting Cody to bed... It hurt me knowing how you felt when I'm not here and I have to admit I felt the same. I couldn't bare to be away from you anymore"

Zak: "you'll never be alone anymore baby, I'm always going to be with you and I promise we'll make it work with us...I can't lose you again"

Catherine (y/n): "you'll never lose me again, I promise"

I smiled at Catherine (y/n) and I embraced her tight in my arms then I kissed her again.

Catherine (y/n): "I'll have to go back to Jay's tomorrow to get all mine and Cody's stuff and I need to thank him and Morgan for everything they've done for me"

Zak: "that's fine baby, but how about I invite them all over tomorrow we can all catch up and I can thank Jay myself for looking after my girl and my boy"

Catherine (y/n): "perfect"

I kisses Catherine (y/n) again and then we decided to go to bed.

** the next day **

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

Waking up to the feeling that everything is perfect again really does make me happy, all I ever want is for mine and Zak's little family to be happy and to be together. However I do feel bad that Zak's mum has temporarily cut him out of her life, but I damn sure gonna prove that I'm not like any of his ex's and we're both gonna prove we're both happy together and nothing can break us apart.

I carefully turned over to face Zak and found him sleeping peacefully, he even looks happy whilst he's sleeping. I carefully kissed his cheek before I carefully got out of bed to go and see Cody. As I walked into Cody's room he stood up in his cot and smiled at me, he sure does has his dad's smile.

Cody: "hiya mama"

Catherine (y/n): "Hiya Cody, do you want some breakfast"

Cody: "yeah"

I lifted Cody out of this cot, changed his nappy/diaper and got him dressed for the day. Then I carried him downstairs, put him in his highchair and started making his breakfast. Whilst I got busy making his breakfast I didn't hear Zak come down the stairs and into the kitchen, so when he wrapped his arms around me he made me jump a little.

Zak: "this is the sight I've missed for a while"

Zak kissed my neck slightly and I smiled at him.

Catherine (y/n): "what, the sight of me a little shaken up when you've startled me?"

I smiled at Zak again which made him smile.

Zak: "No..seeing you in the kitchen making breakfast or making something to eat for all of us, I've missed watching you doing all the little things that makes me happy"

OK I definitely have to admit that was so cute. I didn't realise Zak watches me even when I do the littlest things around the house, and to know I make him happy even then makes me happy.

Catherine (y/n): "I'm glad I make you happy baby"

Zak: "you always make me happy baby"

OK now I'm blushing bad, as Cody's breakfast is done and I was just about to feed him when Zak took the bowl from me.

Zak: "I'll feed Cody baby, you go and get dressed or freshened up and then after breakfast we'll go and see Sophia"

Catherine (y/n): "OK"

As I kissed Zak and then started leaving the kitchen I was surprised for what I was just about to hear.

Cody: "phia"

Wait! What?

Catherine (y/n): "did he just say phia for Sophia?"

Zak: "it sure sounded like it, Cody do you want to see Sophia?"

Cody: "phia"

Catherine (y/n): "OK now he definitely said Sophia then"

Zak: "looks like Cody loves his little sister already"

So I quickly went upstairs to freshen up and get dressed then we was soon on our way to see Sophia.
