Zak's point of view

As me and Catherine (y/n) walked into the restaurant everybody came over to greet her. Whilst everyone was greeting Catherine (y/n) I noticed a couple of girls giving her horrible looks, what I didn't realise one of them is my ex Holly.

I sure wasn't happy to see her here but seeing the way she was looking at Catherine (y/n) made me mad. As I went over to Catherine (y/n) she noticed I wasn't myself and she came over to me to find out what's wrong.

Catherine (y/n): "what's wrong baby?"

Zak: "nothing"

Catherine (y/n): "Zak... I know you too well and I know you're mad about something"

I took a deep breath to calm myself down and then I talked to Catherine (y/n).

Zak: "can you see those 2 blondes sitting by the bar?"

I can see her looking

Catherine (y/n): "yeah?... Wait a minute why does one of them look like your ex Holly?"

Zak: "because it is her, but that's not the thing that's making me mad... I saw her and her friend give you horrible looks"

I looked at Catherine (y/n) and I had no idea that all she did as her reaction was smile a little and laughed a little

Catherine (y/n): "she's just jealous baby, she's jealous that you're in a serious relationship with me and that we're getting married"

I have to admit it is funny to see Holly jealous, but she knew for a fact that mine and her relationship was just purely for sex. I didn't want a future with her as I knew that MY girl was on her way to me.

Zak: "let's make her more jealous shall we baby?"

Seeing Catherine (y/n) smile at me as she knew my plan made me feel even more relaxed and totally forget about Holly. So as part of our plan I embraced Catherine (y/n) in my arms tight and then I passionately kissed her before I held her hand and we made our way to the table to join the rest of the guys and the girls.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

After our meal we all decided to hang out for a bit longer and have a couple of drinks. We was all chatting and having a good time, in a way I kinda wished we wasn't going on the investigation as we are all having a great time right now.

At one point I just sat there taking this moment all in, seeing Zak relaxing and having a good laugh with the rest of the guys made me happy. I even took a photo of all the guys together and then me and the girls had a photo done.

So far this evening is perfect, it could only get better from here.

After one more drink it was time for us to head off but before we left I needed to use the bathroom. After I finished my business and whilst I was washing my hands a woman started talking to me.

???: "so you're the girl who stole Zak from me?"

I looked up in the mirror to see Holly standing behind me. I have to admit I'm feeling a bit nervous and intimidated by her but I was determined not to let her see what I was feeling.

Catherine (y/n): "I don't know what you're talking about? I didn't steal Zak away from you"

I began to walk away when all of a sudden Holly shoved me into the wall.

Holly: "don't lie you stupid bitch, I know you did!"

Catherine (y/n): "Holly, Zak broke up with you before he even met me"

Holly: "only just broken up, he broke up with me when you posted saying you're on your way to Las Vegas"

What a load of crap, I know full well Zak broke up with Holly a little while before I came to Las Vegas. I was really starting to get sick and tired of this bitch.

Catherine (y/n): "Holly its all in the past, now just get over it!"

Holly: "no I wont get over it! Because I know you're only with Zak for his money and fame"

Catherine (y/n): "actually that's the reason why you was with Zak, you just wanted his money... You know why?... Because you're just a dried up old dust bunny"

Then Holly hit me, not once but she repeatedly hit me on my face and then on my body. I screamed out for Zak not a minute too soon he appeared in the door way.

The look on his face was pure hell and all of it was aimed towards Holly.

Zak: "leave Catherine (y/n) alone Holly!"

Holly: "NO! It should've been me Zak! You should be marrying me!"

Holly broke down, she let go of me and fell to the floor. As soon as she let me go I ran to Zak and into his arms, then we went back to everybody.

Soon as we was far away from Holly, Zak checked me.

Zak: "are you OK baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm OK baby... I just really hope that bitch hasn't bruised me"

Zak laughed a little whilst he placed his hand on the side of my face and stroked my cheek gently.

Zak: "she shouldn't have baby, she doesn't hit hard..I know that for a fact"

I looked at Zak a bit puzzled until I knew what he meant by that.

Catherine (y/n): "has she hit you?"

Zak: "yeah, when I broke up with her when I told her I'm in love with someone else"

Oh my god... it's true, Zak called it off with Holly as soon as he knew I was on my way to Las Vegas.

Catherine (y/n): "Zak... When did you break up with her?"

Zak: "as soon as I knew you was on you're way here, as I've told you I have been in love with you ever since you congratulated me on wining my first award for the museum.. That is all true, but as soon as I knew you was on your way here I thought nows my chance to end it once and for all with Holly as I knew I'd be meeting you and finally making you my girl"

My heart skipped a beat and I couldn't help to blush and smile, but one thing that's going through my mind... Why didn't he tell me all of this before?

Catherine (y/n): "why didn't you tell me all of this baby?"

Zak: "I didn't want to give you the wrong impression, I didn't want you to think you was some sort of rebound... because you was not a rebound, you're the love of my life"

My heart skipped a beat and I felt so happy, I was so happy a little stray happy tear ran down my face. I love Zak so much and I love how honest he is with me.

When me and Zak went back to the guys and girls we saw Bacon, Devin and Dakota off as they couldn't go on the investigation with us and then we made our way to our location.
