Zak's point of view

A few weeks have passed and what a amazing few weeks it has been. There has been nothing but pure happiness, fun and quality family time... But now its finally time to get back to investigating. Right now we're on our way to help a family find peace from a very tragic event that happend a few months ago.

Me, Catherine (y/n) and all of the guys was in the car and we're just about to pull up at the family home. We all got out of the car and was just about to go inside and start the interviews. I have to be honest I was kind of worried for the interviews let alone the investigation, it's a very sensitive subject to talk about but not only that the young man who sadly took his life was autistic.

But what's worrying me the most was I haven't even told Catherine (y/n), now I wish I did tell her but I know she's either going to be really emotional or very very angry, especially as she has a brother who is autistic. I've been mentally, emotionally and physically kicking myself over this investigation, but now its too late to tell her.

Before we went inside the property I asked Catherine (y/n) to stay outside and then when we're ready for her she can come in to take photos inside the house.

Aaron: "have you told Catherine (y/n) yet dude?"

I couldn't say anything, I just shook my head.

Billy: "bro she's going to flip, you should've told her"

Zak: "I know I should've told her, I've literally been beating myself up over this, and now it's too late to tell her"

Aaron patted me on the shoulder and tried to reassure me everything will be OK.

** time hop a little while after **

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

I don't know what's going on but Zak seems to be a bit tense about this investigation, and he keeps looking at me with pain, guilt and even begging for forgiveness showing in his eyes. I don't even know why he's showing these signs but I wish he told me.

After a little longer I was able to join the guys inside the property, as soon as I stepped inside the property all of the guys looked at me with concern written on their faces, even Dakota's.

Catherine (y/n): "Dakota what's going on?"

Dakota: "Zak needs you upstairs for some shots"

Catherine (y/n): "OK?"

I was confused but I just grabbed my camera and went upstairs to take some photos as Zak instructed me to. I went inside Michael's bedroom and took some photos, as I paned round to take photos that's when I noticed in the closet a teddy bear wearing a autism awareness t shirt. I didn't know what I was thinking but something clicked and that's when I realised Michael was autistic and he sadly took his own life.

My heart started to race and then anger began to build up inside of me.

I quickly walked out of Michael's bedroom and found Zak in the bathroom with Michael's mother. As she was telling Zak how Michael was found in that room, I started to get more and more mad. Then as soon as Zak looked at me I flipped and let out all I was holding back.

Catherine (y/n): "How dare you Zak!, how can you be so heartless?"

Zak: "Catherine (y/n), please"

Catherine (y/n): "NO! You knew all along and you didn't think to tell me? You know exactly how I feel about things like this! You know that one of my brothers is autistic! How can you do this to me?!"

Zak: "baby... Please let me explain"

Catherine (y/n): "don't, don't come near me... I can't even look at you right now"

I quickly left the guys, ran down the stairs and left the house. I was so mad at Zak, how can he do this to me, I feel so hurt right now.

Zak's point of view

What have I done?, I need to go and see my girl right now. I know she's very angry and upset with me right now but I need to make things better. I need to make this right.

I quickly went down the stairs and went outside and found Catherine (y/n) standing by the car.

Zak: "baby please"

Catherine (y/n): "NO Zak, you have no idea how I'm feeling right now, I can't even look at you right now"

Catherine (y/n) was about to walk away from me again but I stopped her by gently grabbing her wrist to stop her, what happened next took me by surprise and I totally wasn't expecting her to do that.... Catherine (y/n) hit me, and she hit me hard. So hard I fell back and onto the floor and she started to hit me all over.

Zak: "Catherine (y/n), STOP!"

But she wouldn't listen, she only stopped when all the guys came out and got her off of me. My mind was going crazy I didn't know what to think or how to feel, I was scared but I wasn't scared of her, and I wasn't angry. I know that's not like Catherine (y/n) at all and I know she wouldn't hurt me, but as she was lashing out I knew it was all out of pain... She felt betrayed and hurt.

Catherine (y/n) got herself free from Jay's and Dakota's hold on her and then she stormed off.

Aaron: "dude you need to go after her"

Zak: "I know I do dude, but she needs space"

Dakota: "Zak do you want me to go after her?"

Zak: "no its OK Dakota, I'll go after her now. Let's just finish off here for today first"
