Zak's point of view

What a perfect night and morning I've had since a couple of weeks ago, just spending time with just me and my girl. All we did was talked, laughed and rebuilt our love for each other. Unfortunately around late morning Catherine (y/n) had to head back to Jay's as Cody was on his way home, even though I feel alone again I'm feeling happy.

During breakfast me and Catherine (y/n) came up with a plan and solution which in a way was perfect, it's not what we both really wanted but it's a start and hopefully it won't be a long term arrangement.

** flashback to a little earlier **

Catherine (y/n): "are you sure you really want to do this? I'm happy and welcome to stay at Jay's until I'm ready to come home"

Zak: "I'm very sure baby. I know Jay said he's happy and you said you're happy to stay at his but Sophia comes out of hospital very soon, and you'll need your own space to spend time with her and Cody"

Catherine (y/n): "but I don't want to cause any trouble, and it's alot of money to spend on something that is short term"

Zak: "baby, don't worry, anyway its not going to be a waste of money. Once you're back home with me I'll make that property as a guest property, so when your family comes over they can stay there"

Catherine (y/n): "that's perfect baby but what about all the money from the wedding? you haven't said anything about that"

Zak: "I've sorted it all"

Catherine (y/n): "what did you do baby?"

Zak: "I've just rescheduled our wedding for a later date.. That's if you still want to marry me"

Catherine (y/n): "of course I still want to marry you Zak, but as I said let's just take it one step at a time for a little while"

Zak: "that's fine with me baby, I just want you to be happy and I want you to be happy with me baby"

Catherine (y/n) came over to me and wrapped her arms around me before she kissed me

Catherine (y/n): "I'll always be happy with you Zak, you make me so happy"

I smiled at Catherine (y/n) and then I kissed her and embraced her tight in my arms.

** back to real time **

OK so what if its alot of money to spend on a short term plan, I'm willing to do anything to make mine and Catherine's (y/n) relationship work. Whilst I was looking for a house for Catherine (y/n) online my mom came through the door.

Nancy: "Hi Zak"

Zak: "hi mom"

She came over and gave me a quick hug.

Nancy: "so... How did things go with Catherine (y/n)?"

Zak: "pretty good actually we've talked about alot of things, and we've both talked about giving our relationship another go"

Nancy: "I'm so glad to hear that son, so when is she coming home?"

Zak: "that's another thing, we're gonna take things slow for a little while, but I've told her she'll need her own space especially with Sophia coming out of hospital very soon".

Nancy: "that is true son, so what are you thinking of?"

Zak: "I'm gonna buy a house for Catherine (y/n)"

The look on my mom's face was telling me she's not happy about my plan.

Nancy: "Zak, what are you doing? You've just lost alot of money from the wedding that never happened, are you sure you want to waste more money on something that might not work out?".
