Zak's point of view

What a amazing day I've had with my girl, all morning I just held her in my arms and then this afternoon we went for a walk on red rock canyon and saw a amazing sunset. Now we've just got home just in time for all the guys and girls to come over.

As soon as they all came in and greeted us one by one they all gave Catherine (y/n) big hugs. Even all of them would be lost without Catherine (y/n), she's the rock in our strong group... We'd all be lost without her.

After we all got sorted with drinks and snacks we all just talked about everything and anything that came into our heads. Even the conversation about our kids.

Aaron: "so Jay and Morgan, when are you adding to your little family? Jayden needs a little sibling"

Jay: "we're not sure yet, we want to have another but at the moment we're not being lucky"

Morgan: "it's not like we're not trying, it's just we're not having any luck. But maybe soon we will be"

As everyone was talking I looked over to Catherine (y/n) and we just smiled at each other. Even though we are happy with just Cody and Sophia, every now and again I can't help but think maybe we could have another baby. I know Catherine (y/n) is thinking the same but what with everything that went on we just haven't had a chance to talk about extending our family.

I do know for a fact, no matter what we decide we'll always be happy with our little family.

Aaron: "what about you Catherine (y/n), when are you and Zak adding another baby to your little group?"

Before Catherine (y/n) could say anything I stepped in.

Zak: "we're not sure yet dude, it would be nice to extend our little family but we're also very happy with the two we have already"

Catherine (y/n): "exactly what Zak just said, we are very happy with just Cody and Sophia. We got a equal amount and they're one of each so it's perfect"

Victoria: "you could end up having a set of twins 1 boy and 1 girl"

Catherine (y/n): "oh god I hope not"

Zak: "Yeah twins would be a bit mad"

We all laughed at our reactions, then we all just talked about all sorts again.

Victoria: "so when is your next investigation guys?"

What with everything that has happened I completely forgot we had a couple of investigations coming up. To be honest I'm not sure if I really want to do them. All the guys looked at me and I knew that they knew I was worried about going on a investigation.

Zak: "we do have a couple coming up, but I'm not sure if I want to do them... To be honest I've been thinking maybe we should start slowing down with the investigations. I don't want to end Ghost Adventures I just don't want to keep investigating all these places that has had some dark rituals or dark entities"

I looked at my girl and can see she was shocked with what I just said. I know my decision might upset people but I just don't want to risk mine and my little family's lives and even risk the guys lives for something dangerous.

Aaron: "we're with you on that dude, no more dark places"

Jay and Billy even agreed and I'm happy all of the guys are happy with our decision.

Zak: "I'm glad y'all are happy with what I have decided. Its for the best, I just want to keep everyone safe"

Jay: "Zak you don't need to explain, we all understand"

Billy: "you're thinking what's best for all of us,as well as keeping your family safe, which is the most important thing ever"

Zak: "thanks guys"

All the guys came over to me and bro hugged me.

Aaron: "does that mean you're gonna stop sending me into scary rooms on my own?"

All of us started to laugh a little before I came out with...

Zak: "we'll see dude, we still got to make the show appealing for the fans"

Aaron: "ahh I thought I try my luck"

We all laughed again before we all carried on spending the evening together with our girls.

It's moments like these that I love, spending time with everyone who really matters to me.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

After having a great time with all the guys and girl they all went home, so now I get to spend time with Zak again. As we wasn't feeling tired yet Zak decided to play on the xbox for a bit whilst I finished off tidying the kitchen. After I was done I went into the living room to see Zak was still playing his game, I didn't want to disturb Zak too much so I went up behind him and wrapped my arms around him.

Zak: "I'll be coming off now baby"

Catherine (y/n): "OK, you don't have to come off it yet though, if you don't want to"

Zak: "I know baby, I want to spend time with you too"

I smiled before I kissed Zak's cheek and then sat on the couch. I don't get it when some girls hate it when their partner is on the game consoles, I don't mind that Zak wants to play on the games console, if anything I find it hot. Hey I'm a gamer girl myself so I'm not going to complain when Zak is on the game console alot.

5 minutes later Zak came off his game and he came over to sit by me and wrapped his arm around me.

Zak: "how's my girl?"

I love it when Zak calls me his girl, even after all this time.

Catherine (y/n): "I'm good baby, are you OK?"

Zak: "I'm great baby"

I smiled at Zak before he leaned in closer and kissed me.

Zak: "tell me the truth Catherine (y/n) how do you feel about me cutting down on investigations?"

I knew this conversation would come up at some point, I'm happy and supportive of Zak's decisions but I can't help but feel guilty he's cutting down the amount of investigations. He's cutting it down because of me.

Catherine (y/n): "I'm happy baby and I'll always support you in everything you decide what to do... But I can't help but feel guilty you're cutting down because of me, I don't want you to give up Ghost Adventures because of me"

Zak: "but baby I am doing it for you..."
