Zak's point of view

I fell asleep... How could I fall asleep. I woke up in a panic and immediately checked on Catherine (y/n) as soon as I put my hand on her she jumped awake.

Catherine (y/n): "I'm OK"

She said sleepily, it's funny she knew I was worried about her even in her sleep. She rubbed her eyes slightly before looking at me, then she smiled one of her beautiful smiles at me.

Zak: "are you sure?"

I asked her with a smile on my face as I stroked her cheek with my hand.

Catherine (y/n): "yeah, see I told you I'll be OK"

I smiled at my girl again before I leaned in and kissed her.

Catherine (y/n): "what have you got planned for us today baby?"

Zak: "lay in bed all day and hold you"

Catherine (y/n): "that sounds perfect baby, but I would really love to go and get our children back"

Zak: "we will baby, let's just have another day just to ourselves"

Seeing the way Catherine (y/n) smiled at me melted my heart. Right now I don't want to be anywhere I just want to be with my girl, that's all I ever want to do is be with my girl.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

The way Zak is looking at me right now is melting my heart. I feel so lucky to have Zak in my life, not just as one of my best friends, but as my husband. He really is the love of my life, I don't know what I've done to deserve him.

Even though we have a very deep connection with each other as if we can read each others minds sometimes I wish I could really read Zak's mind, just to see what he's thinking when it's little moments like this.

As we was both looking and holding each other closely Zak leaned in and kissed me, our kiss started of soft before Zak deepend it.

Zak: "I love you Catherine (y/n)"

Catherine (y/n): "I love you more Zak"

Soon enough Zak smiled at me again before we kissed again and made love.

** a couple of hours later **

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

After a amazing morning together me and Zak decided to go for a drive and take Gracie for a afternoon walk before the guys and girls come over for the evening. Zak hasn't really spoken to the guys since what happened to me but we are certain Jay has told the guys.

Before we headed out Zak decided to do a group phone call to the guys and we all talked a little bit. The guys and girls didn't have to say anything but I knew they was all worried but yet relieved to know I'm safe.

After the phone call me and Zak was on our way out for our drive. I didn't know where Zak was taking us but I was just happy to be spending time with him and just time to ourselves.

As Zak was busy driving when we stopped at the traffic lights I couldn't resist and took a photo of us. Well mainly of Zak but I am in the photo a little bit.

You can physically see Zak is happy, and as long as he's happy I'm happy. During our journey I took in the views of Las Vegas, no matter how many times I've seen this place it still captures my eyes. There's no feeling to describe it.

As I was enjoying the view Zak placed his hand on my thigh. I looked at him again and saw yet again he had one of his incredible smiles on his face. He just knows how to make my heart melt and skip a beat, I was enjoying his touch so much I couldn't resist and hold his hand in mine.

I couldn't do anything or even say anything. I just smiled looked at Zak and then looked at our hands as we're joined together. Nothing can ruin this moment everything feels perfect.

Eventually we made it to red rock canyon. I've lost count how many times I've been here but no matter what I always love coming here.

We've been walking for a good few hours now and as the sun was beginning to set we thought it was best to start heading back to the car. As we was almost back, we stopped to take in the view. Of all the times we've been here I haven't seen a sunset like this before, this sunset was breathtaking.

As Gracie was standing close to Zak I thought this moment was the perfect moment to take a amazing photo.

I love this photo and it's now become one of my favourites. As Zak turned around he saw I was taking a photo of him and Gracie.

Zak: "did you just take a photo of me and Gracie baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "yeah, how could I not this view and sunset is amazing"

I got the picture up to show Zak and can see even he loves the picture too.

Zak: "do you know what would be even better"

Catherine (y/n): "what?"

Zak: "me and you have a couple of photos here together"

OK that would be amazing, especially with this sunset. Next minute I knew Zak pulled his phone out and we had a couple of pictures together with the sunset. OK I was wrong these photos are now one of my favourites.

After a couple more photos we just enjoyed the sunset together before we arrived back at the car and was heading back home.
