Dreams From Hell

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

Darkness... That's all I can see, but yet in the darkness I can hear faint whispers but in reality the whispers are screams. The screams are coming from Zak, and all I know is they are screams of pain.

Pain that he has once again lost his girl to the spirits. But I'm fighting, fighting to get back into the light and back to my husband.

I know I'm dreaming but yet this dream feels very real. I can feel every new scratch the demon is putting on me, marking me as its territory. But also I can feel Zak's pain. His heart is physically breaking.

Just as the dreams about to get worse I wake myself up everytime and everytime I wake up I'm drenched in cold sweat, shaking with fear and anxiety through the roof.

But every night I wake up like this, Zak always comforts me and reassures me that I'm OK and I'm safe.  I hate to admit it but waking up like this every night is taking its toll on me. I barely have any energy to do anything, let alone trying to fight this demon.

After yet another night from hell I just laid in bed. I feel so bad, especially as Zak is looking after Cody and Sophia on his own. I should get up and help him but he insists he's fine with them. Thankfully today Zak's mom has come over to help him whilst he looks after me.

As I lay in bed I can hear Cody and Sophia bond with Zak, and I just feel sad as I should be there watching my little family grow. I sat up in bed slightly and began to cry a little, I want this darkness to end. I don't want to be like this anymore.

Zak: "Hey beautiful"

I looked up at Zak with tears in my eyes. As Zak saw the tears in my eyes he instantly walked over to me, sat on the bed and wrapped his arm around me.

Catherine (y/n): "I just want all this darkness to end, I want to be me again"

Zak wrapped his arm around me even more and gently squeezed me into him.

Zak: "it'll be over soon baby, I promise. Me and the guys will get you out of this"

I looked at Zak and smiled at him slightly.

Catherine (y/n): "I know you'll help me baby but I can't help but feel I'll never get out of this"

Zak: "baby... I promise you with all my heart and soul you will get out of this. I'll do everything I can to help you through this, I'm not going anywhere"

I smiled at Zak again before we both wrapped our arms around each other tight.

Zak: "how are you feeling baby?"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm OK, just feeling drained"

Zak placed his hand on the side of my cheek and gently stroked it.

Zak: "do you want anything to eat?"

Soon as Zak mentioned food my stomach churned in protest, I can't stomach any food but at the same time I'm feeling starving.

Catherine (y/n): "eww, no"

Zak: "you need to eat something baby, it'll keep your strength up"

Catherine (y/n): "I know baby, I'm feeling hungry but my stomach can't handle anything right now"

Zak held my hand in his and smiled at me slightly.

Zak's point of view

Hearing my girl can't stomach any food right now is worrying me, I really want her to eat something... Anything. I held her hand tight in mine and smiled at her.

As I looked at Catherine (y/n) I can see she was getting tired again, so I helped her to lie down and get comfortable. I decided to lay next to Catherine (y/n) on our bed for a little while so she can cuddle up with me and listen to my heartbeat.

No matter what we've been doing throughout the day, my favourite time is laying next to my girl and hold her in my arms. But I have to admit being like this right now is strange, but as long as my girl feels better soon then that's all that matters.

It sure didn't take long til Catherine (y/n) was asleep, I carefully got out of bed and went to join my mom in the kitchen.

Nancy: "hey sweetie, is Catherine (y/n) OK?"

Zak: "I think so.. I'm worried about her mom, she won't eat anything and she's getting weaker"

Nancy: "she'll be fine hunny, while I'm here I'll try and get her to eat something for you. Do you want me to make some of my special soup"

Zak: "that will be great, thanks mom"

Nancy: "that's OK sweetie, don't worry Catherine (y/n) will start eating again"

Mom is right I know Catherine (y/n) will start eating again, but I'm just worried she won't I hate seeing my girl weak... I just want her better.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

I started to wake up from my sleep and that was such a great sleep I had,
I haven't slept like that for a while. As I was waking up more I noticed the air was filled with the smell of something very delicious. For once I was actually feeling hungry and I really wanted something to eat.

I slowly got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen, where I saw Zak and Nancy sitting by the table. As soon as Zak saw me he smiled at me before he came over to me.

Zak: "Hey sleepyhead, how are you feeling?"

Catherine (y/n): "better than I have been"

He smiled at me again before wrapping his arms around me.

Nancy: "you feeling hungry sweetie, would you like some of my special soup?"

Catherine (y/n): "oh yes please"

I couldn't wait to get some food in me, I'm starving. I sat down at the table just as Zak came over to me with some food, it didn't take long until we was all sitting down and having dinner together.

After dinner I was feeling stuffed and actually felt more better than I already was, I really do need to make sure I eat something. As we all finished dinner we all just sat and talked, I just wished I was awake sooner that way I could've spent time with Cody and Sophia.

Whilst Zak was helping his mom to tidy up I went to see Sophia and then Cody. They've grown so much these last few months it's unbelievable, not only that since these last couple of days I've had it feels like I've missed alot of things they have done.

I sat down on Cody's bed and gently stroked his hair, he really is looking more and more like Zak every time he grows. I gently tucked Cody into bed and kissed his little cheek.

Catherine (y/n): "mummy loves you so much little man, I'm always here for you and Sophia"

Zak: "and I'm always here for all of you"

I jumped a little bit hearing Zak's voice, I thought he was still down stairs helping Nancy. I turned around and looked at Zak and smiled at him.

Catherine (y/n): "you seriously need to stop scaring me baby"

Zak walked over to me, helped me up and wrapped his arms around me.

Zak: "I can't help it baby, seriously though I'm always here for you, Cody and Sophia. You'll never be alone as long as you have me"

Catherine (y/n): "you'll always have us Zak"

Zak smiled at me again before he leaned in and kissed me tenderly. Then before I even had a chance to say anything Zak held my hand and lead me to our bedroom. When we got inside our room, he shut the door before he came over to me and kissed me passionately.

During our kiss we both went onto the bed before Zak laid me down and started kissing me again.

Zak: "I love you Catherine (y/n)"

I couldn't help but smile at him before saying....

Catherine (y/n): "I love you more Zak"

Then he smiled one of his beautiful smiles at me before he started kissing me passionately again.
