Heart Ache

Zak's point of view

I was worried about Catherine (y/n) she looked so upset, I know she's upset about leaving Sophia when she gets to go home. I'm upset about that too, I need to comfort her and reassure her that it won't be long til Sophia gets to come home.

I needed to go to Catherine (y/n), I made my way out of the room and went looking for Catherine (y/n) I know she wouldn't go far. Thankfully I found her in the family room, but she's not doing to good. I can see her heart breaking in to two.

I went over to her and comforted her the best I can.

Zak: "baby... What's wrong?"

She looked at me with tears in her eyes and tear trails on her face.

Catherine (y/n): "I don't want to come home, I want to stay here until Sophia can come home...I don't want to leave her behind"

My heart was breaking, I just want to take her pain away. But how can I when I feel the same way.

Zak: "baby, I know you don't want to leave Sophia behind, I feel the same way too baby. But she'll be home with us as soon as we know it... I promise baby"

Catherine (y/n) began to cry again so I embraced her tight in my arms

Zak: "I promise baby, she'll be home with us soon"

Catherine (y/n): "I'm sorry that I said I didn't want to come home baby, I really do want to but I just want Sophia to come home too"

Zak: "I know baby, and she will be home soon. The guys and girls are coming up later, they can't wait to meet Sophia"

Catherine (y/n): "she'll definitely want to come home sooner when she finds out how cool her aunties and uncles are"

I smiled and laughed slightly. It is true, Sophia will love them all.

Zak: "just think in about 4 weeks it'll be our wedding day and then a couple of weeks after Sophia will be coming home"

Catherine (y/n): "I can't wait baby"

Zak: "me neither"

I kissed Catherine (y/n) tenderly, held her hand in mine and we walked back into where my family is with our kids.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

After spending more time with Cody and Zak's family, it was time for them to go. I'm going to miss not seeing Cody again, but in a day or so I'll be back home and I can spend alot of time with him.

Even though I am still reluctant to leave Sophia, Zak has reassured me and promised me she'll be home very soon. There's so much to look forward to and to do I'm actually pretty nervous about how am I gonna fit it all in.

What with going home and spending time with Cody and Zak, then it'll be mine and Zak's bachelor and bachelorret get togethers, then spending time with my family when they arrive, then the wedding and amongst all of that lot coming to see Sophia. I feel like I need more than 1 of me right now.

After me and Zak spent time with Sophia we had to return back to maternity ward so Sophia can get some rest. We told the guys about coming to see Sophia tomorrow instead and they was happy about that. So for the rest of the day me and Zak relaxed until he had to head home.

Catherine's (y/n) point of view

The next morning rolled by and after I had breakfast the OBGYN came round to check on me.

OBGYN: "everything looks good with you Catherine (y/n) if all goes well you should be able to go home later today or tomorrow"

I knew this moment was going to come but I can't help but feel emotional.
