walkers were inside the perimeter, i didn't know what to do. i was just in the field feeling the sunlight when the alarms started blaring, and walkers infiltrated the place, the gate rick closed must've opened. maggie, lola, carl, and lori ran inside the cellblock we were in, i had to find them. i had to.

slowly creeping down the tunnels with my knife raised, i turned corners. whispering out their names. water dripped from leaky pipes, and the alarms blasted in my ears. god where are they? i could hear walkers growling in the distance as i continued walking down the dark halls, I i raised my knife, ready to kill some of em' when i hear faint struggling coming from the door i was about to pass.

i furrow my brows in confusion, pressing my door closer to the door to hear, and i was right, someone struggling to breathe or something was going on in there. i open the door slowly which made a creaking noise. when they all turned their heads i saw who it was, carl, maggie, lola, and lori, just the people i was looking for.

"mom!" lola gasps in surprise, but i could see looks of worry and tears in her eyes. same with the rest of them. what's going on? i shut the door behind me.

"what's going on?" i ask as i rush down the stairs, we were inside some kind of boiler or engine room. it was an odd place to be in. "lori's having the baby." maggie confesses, and my heart drops. now? it has to be now?

"shit." i curse as i bend down next to her. her back was laying against the cold concrete. and her pants were across the room along with her boots. this is really happening.

i let out a trembling breath, i was terrified, "t-the contractions must've been caused by the stress of what's been going on." i explain to them in panic.

"i can't tell if she's dilated." maggie explains to me with worry in her eyes.

i shake my head, "i-i know not a thing about this, e—especially not delivering babies i'm sorry!" i expressed in a frantic manner.

"it's okay." lori tells me, sitting up on her elbows, "i gotta push."

carl knelt down next to her, and grabbed ahold of his hand for support. lori started to push, she did it a few times before maggie stopped her, "wait lori stop! somethings wrong."

i look at maggie, asking her what she meant. maggie lets out a shaky breath as she shows me, lori's blood was all over her hands. my heart felt like it stopped beating, fuck, this can't be. carl needs his mother, the baby needs it's mother, her and i have our differences but that doesn't mean i'm not freaking out about this.
