"So you're telling me that whoever lifts this, will rule Asgard?" Clint spun the drumsticks around between his fingers.
"Yes that's right. You'll wield the power of me." Thor smiled.
Clint shrugged, "Sweet!" The archer got up and walked towards the hammer, giving it a once over before reaching and grabbing it, grunting and straining as he tried to lift it off the glass table.
"I don't know how you do it!" Clint chuckled as he walked back over and sat on the floor next to my legs.
"It's physics." Tony scoffed, pushing himself off the couch and setting his bottle of scotch down.
"So just to clarify, if I lift this, and I will, I get to rule Asgard?" Tony smirked at Thor.
"Yes that's what I said. But go and give it a try, Stark." Thor smiled back as his eyes danced with amusement.
Tony licked his lips before reaching down and gripping the hammer with a vice like grip. Grunting, Stark failed to lift the hammer, telling us he would be right back.
"Care to try lady Natasha?" Thor asked my girlfriend.
Nat took a sip of her beer, swallowing before she answered, "Thats not a question I need answered."
Thor hummed, "What about you Lady y/n?"
I looked at the hammer as I thought about if I wanted to try my luck and lift the hammer or not. Shrugging my shoulders, I decided to give it a go. I mean, I didn't have anything to lose.
"Sure, why not." I set down my half empty beer bottle and got off the couch, wiping my palms down on my jeans.
Reaching out I grabbed the hammer and lifted it up, hearing the metal scratch the glass table as I easily lifted the hammer.
"Holy shit!" I gasped, looking over to my girlfriend who's eyes danced with amusement and she had a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
"I'll be damned! Y/n is worthy!" Clint yelled with a triumphant laugh at the end.
I tore my eyes away from my girlfriend before looking at the god of thunder. Said man had a dumbfounded look on his face and his mouth was dropped open.
"Lady y/n is worthy!" Thor smiled before picking me up and placing me on his shoulders.
I laughed in surprise before holding the hammer high.
"What's goi- Y/N CAN LIFT THE HAMMER!?" Tony yelled before breaking out into a wide grin.
"MY GIRLFRIEND IS WORTHY!" Nat yelled in her buzzed state.
All of us laughed before Thor set me back on the ground.
"Here ya go, Thor. While ruling Asgard sounds fun, I believe that right is yours." I tossed him the hammer to which he easily caught.
Thor bowed his head slightly at me, "Thank you, Lady y/n."
