NATASHAS POV
"How's y/n doing?" I asked over the coms while I watched a hydra base through the binoculars.
"She's in labor right now. Doctor said it's not long before-"
"What!? She's in labor right now and I'm not there to watch my daughter be born?!" I hissed on the com line to Clint.
"Your daughter wanted to come out today, she couldn't wait." Clint explained quickly.
"Wonder where she got that from." I mumbled under my breath, "How's y/n?"
"In pain and wants this baby out. She wishes you were here but she understands... you have a job to do."
"No!" I shook my head and dropped the binoculars, "Y/n is my priority and I'm calling this mission off. There hasn't been any activity in months and they can always send an agent back here to watch it. I need to keep them safe and I want to be there when my baby girl is born."

Rushing into the medical wing and into the room where they said my wife was, my eyes widened at the ear piercing scream she let out.
"Hey baby," I grabbed her hand and moved a few strands of hair out of her eyes.
"It's about time you got here! Can't believe I let you get me pregnant!"
Chuckling under my breath I smiled at her, "You're doing so good."
"A few more pushes and your daughter will be here." One of the doctors said.
"She's almost here." I sniffled as I caressed the back of her hand with my thumb, wincing in pain when she squeezed harshly as she pushed.
A few more pushes later and our baby girl was here in my wife's arms.
"She looks just like you." I cooed.
"She's got your eyes." Y/n let out a watery laugh when our child opened its eyes, her orbs an exact replica of mine.
"Hello, little Ella." Y/n whispered softly against her cheek.
"Thank you for caring my child and giving me this amazing gift." I pecked the top of my wife's head, watching her eyes flutter closed as I took our baby into my arms to watch over for the night.
Nothing would stand in my way from keeping these two safe. Nothing. I'd kill for them without hesitation. No matter what I would keep my family safe.
