She brought me over the edge like she always does, me finishing her off the same time she did me. It was an endless cycle as I wiped my fingers clean. She'd thank me with a kiss to the cheek, get out of her bed and head into the shower. By the time she got out I was dressed and ready to leave, her making it very clear that she didn't want this to go anywhere else other than sex. It was just sex.

"You're still here?" Nat asked as she finished pulling her grey tank top over her head.

"I need to talk to you." I stood up from her messy bed and rubbing my hands on my shorts.

"It was fun in the beginning, Natasha, but I can't be your sex toy any longer." I spat.

"Who said you were my sex toy!?" Nat scoffed.

"Why is Natasha staring at you?" My sister Jane asked.

"What?!" I hissed as I choked on my coffee, turning around to see the red head sitting a few tables behind yes looking at me. When she saw me, the corners of her lips twitched up a little.

"She's coming this way." Jane said looking past me before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Of course." I mumbled.

"Hey, y/n. Jane." Natasha greeted.

"Hello. I think I'm going to call Thor and see how he's doing. Excuse me." Jane said before getting up and giving me a look.

"I need to talk to you." Nat sat down in Janes empty chair.

"Well I have nothing nice to say to you." I rolled my eyes before going to get up to leave when Natasha grabbed my wrist over the table.

"Please, y/n." The ex assassin begged quietly.

"Fine. You have two minutes." I sat back down.

"Thank you. You said you had feelings for me... is that true?"

"Why would I lie about something like that?" I shook my head and crossed my arms over my chest, "Why do you even care? I'm just a sex toy to you."

"Don't call yourself that!" Nat growled before taking a few calming breaths, "You're not a sex toy to me, y/n. Maybe in the beginning but I.. care about you very deeply."

"Yeah, sure." I chuckled dryly, "I think you're confusing love and lust."

"Y/n you have to believe me! I love you... and I've never felt that way about anyone before."

My breath hitched in my throat. Was Natasha being serious? Did she actually return my feelings? Or was she playing a game?

"Don't do that. Don't give me hope." I sighed quietly.

"I love you, y/n. I'm sorry about the things I said back at the compound. You really don't know what you have till it's gone and when you left it made me realize my feelings for you go way past a simply fuck. Then you said you had feelings for me and I thought that this could be it! I could have my dream girl."

"Then you went and fucked it all up."

"I know, and I'm sorry. Just say you forgive me, please."

I sighed, taking another drink of my coffee before it went cold, "I forgive you because holding grudges are dumb. But you have to work for me, Romanoff. I'm not going to be easy."

"I don't expect you to be." Nat smirked before squeezing my hand, "Would you care for another coffee?"

"I'd love one." I smiled back at her.
