YOUR POV

The world had kinda gone back to normal after the snap. Or the blip as Peter had said the kids around school started calling it. The kid came by often when he wasn't saving the world or going on dates with MJ. I think it was good for us both considering... considering that we lost two good people that day.

The house was naked and the four walls felt cold. Honestly, it looked like someone wasn't even living in this house. This wasn't a home without her. I sighed tiredly as I started making my morning coffee, grabbing a random cup from the shelf. A small smile graced my lips when I noticed it was the Iron Man coffee cup Tony had gifted me for my birthday three years ago.

"You just had to have your face on everything, huh Stark?" I chuckled under my breath. Leaning against the counter while the coffee began brewing, I watched the white snow flakes fall and stick to the ground outside.

The holidays were two weeks away and I hadn't even put up any of the decorations sitting in plastic tubs in the attic. Natasha didn't really understand the whole point of decorating when you'd take the decor down a few days, if not the day after, down. It was just something I liked doing ever since I was little.

This year, my stomach turned and felt sickly as my body felt too heavy to even decorate. This wasn't a time to be celebrating, it was a time to be grieving. Nat and Tony were gone. They weren't coming back and the thought of pretending everything was fine by stringing up multi colored lights made me weep. You can't fake happiness if your happiness was taken from you far too soon.

Discarding my Iron Man cup on the counter I made my way down the hall and to my room where I got dressed and brushed my teeth. Putting a beanie on because it was cold and I was too lazy to do my hair, I grabbed my guitar and car keys.

"Hey, y/n. Where ya going?" Peter asked as he scratched the top of his head. He had bags forming under his eyes and his heavy school bag slung over his shoulder. The tip of his nose was red as he sneezed.

"I'm going to the lake. You can come if you want to."

Peter nodded, giving me a small smile as he tried to hide his sadness behind it. Both of us got in the car before I drove off to the cabin. Nat and Tony never got headstones for the cemetery, all of us gathering at the lake near the Starks home instead. Pepper casted out his old arc reactor while I casted out Natashas favorite flower.

The car ride was silent and before we knew it, we were here. Peter said something about going in to say hello to Pepper and Morgan while I grabbed my guitar and went out by the lake.

"Hey, Nat." I said shakily as I sat down on the snowy ground. "I um, I wrote you a song. Sorry if it's bad." I scratched the back of my neck with a chuckle.

Strumming the cords of the acoustic guitar softly I cleared my throat before singing softly.

You don't know, babe
When you hold me
And kiss me slowly
It's the sweetest thing
And it don't change
If I had it my way
You would know that you are

You're the coffee that I need in the morning
You're my sunshine in the rain when it's pouring
Won't you give yourself to me
Give it all, oh

I just wanna see
I just wanna see how beautiful you are
You know that I see it
I know you're a star
Where you go I follow
No matter how far
If life is a movie
Oh you're the best part, oh oh oh
You're the best part, oh oh oh
Best part

At the end of the song I began to sniffle before I let out a small cry as I stared at the frozen lake. God did I miss her.

"I hope you and Tony are eating cheeseburgers wherever you are. And that you're safe and happy. I'll see you soon, Tasha." I croaked out as I felt a hand placed on my shoulder.

Wiping my eyes I looked up to see Pepper giving me a sad smile. Getting up I hugged Pepper tightly, her arms wrapping around me. I felt Morgan hug my leg as Peter hugged Pepper and I from the side.

The world had gone to shit and managed to take our worlds away. Now that the world was getting better, all of us would never be the same.
